RE: Toyhauler of choice???
Wow..thanks for all the good advice guys! Think I'll be looking into the Komfort Carry All!
Think you'll have to look for a used one. Don't think Komfort makes the Carry-All anymore.
RE: Toyhauler of choice???
I think after looking at the different RV's in person you will get a better idea of what is best for you and your price range.
My Skyline Rampage IMO, is a good mid-range toyhauler.
RE: Bed rail height of a 3rd gen Dodge 2500/3500?
Put a flatbed on it! They make some really nice ones with custom storage boxes and extra fuel tank options as well. Then you won't have to worry about bed rail clearance with your 5th wheel.
RE: Looking for short (26-28ft?) 5th Wheel to carry small auto.
The shortest work-n-play 5th wheel model I saw in the link was 34' 8"...guess it depends on what one considers a short toyhauler!! Just do the math. With a 5th wheel, by the time you put in the front bedroom area, bath, and kitchen, even 10 ft of cargo space ends up being somewhere around a 30' RV.
Skyline use to have a 30' 5th wheel toyhauler. Don't know if they still have it in production.
