RE: Need truck mechanic in Carefree AZ

We ended up going to Sedona. I found a mechanic there - Phillips Auto in Cottonwood. Fast, very courtious and very communicative about the problem. Very organized and clean shop.
Problem turned out to be the pinion bearing.

RE: Need truck mechanic in Carefree AZ

Hey thanks - I will give them a ring. I have had these things happen on a few vehicles and it took them a long time to turn into a "real" problem. But I would like to get it fixed before the long ride back home.

Carefree Dentist

no, not a carefree Dentist, but a dentist in Carefree :)
We are on a budget and have no dental insurance here in Canada. We hear that dental work is much cheaper in the states. Anyone have a recommendation for one near Carefree AZ?
thanks!

Looks like reserveration for all the RV sites at TUmalo state park in Bend OR are all full up. Anyone know if I can fit a 26' 5ver in there? Are generators allowed?
No one answers the phone at the park :-(

RE: Solar Confusion

Something like this should do you nicely:
2 x 145w panels $240
Morningstar 20 amp controller $76
That is about $1 per watt controller included. Maybe another $100 for the all in self install.
Mr Kettner - thanks for the suggestions - much appreciated.

RE: Wi-Fi booster antenna

I bought one from dealextreme. something like 12-14bd gain, built in adapter, plugs in USB to the laptop. Cost around $30. I mount it on a pole to the back of the 5er. Works *very* well.

Solar Confusion

A lot of the dry sites I camp in dont allow generators, So I am forced to get some solar panels. thats fine.
I calculated my power consumption and figure if I get 240W of panels I should be able to survive, even at 20% effeciency (cloudy days, shady sites, off angle from the sun).
I live in Canada (BC) and the price of solar here is stupid. At least twice the costs of the states. So I will get some panels and a charge controller shipped to Seattle and pick it up from there.
OK, time for the questions.
Any recommendation for a brand/model for panels and regulator?
Any recommendation of a supplier is Washington state?
thanks for the help.
