RE: Zipper on Travasak chewed by dog

The dog or the zipper?
The zipper, but if he is not careful he will be replaced. LOL! This is the third zipper that he has chewed.

Zipper on Travasak chewed by dog

I love my Travasak, which are no longer available. Now my dog has chewed the plastic zipper on one side. Anyone know where I can get it replaced?

RE: Zip Code required to buy gas

We have found that entering 00000 works in most places. Some pumps have new security software on them which makes it impossible to do this. Smaller gas stations with older pumps work fine.

RE: Toaster Oven Recommendations?

We bought a Black and Decker convection toaster oven at Walmart for $40. Works greats and is small enough to fit in our kitchen storage area.

RE: Fort Myers RV Parks

We are at Pine Island RV Park. It is far enough out of Fort Myers to not be influenced by the traffic and close enough to go there if we wish. They have trolley trips from the park to nearby beaches such as Lovers Key and Sanibel for $5:00 each. It is not a 55+resort, but there are no kids here. Mostly snowbirds.

RE: If you were to write a camping etiquette book ...

OK, here's another one. People who spend hours walking around on their site holding LOUD conversations on their cell phones! So rude!

RE: If you were to write a camping etiquette book ...

All of the above! Plus - please do not hawk up whatever is in your wind pipes and spit everywhere. Not only is it disgusting, it is also unsanitary. This does not only go for camping etiquette, it is everywhere etiquette.
Do not burn plastic or treated wood in your fire pit. It not only stinks, they are also toxic chemical pollutants.
Respect the campground quiet times. Do not keep your rowdy fireside party going until the small hours.
Watch the loud profanities. Not everyone is impressed with that language, especially if there are children around.
When we are reversing into a site or packing up, please do not come over to help. While the offer is appreciated we would prefer to do it unassisted. DH and I have a method of hand signals which we use and we understand each other completely. Also, with breaking camp, we use a check list and if you come along to help, we may miss something.
OK. I'll get off my soapbox now.

RE: '08 Saturn Vue Battery

Sorry if I'm being slow, but is this a problem unique to the Saturn Vue? Why would mileage accumulate while the ignition is on accessory? Or did the OP have the ignition turned on ON rather than ACC?
I have friends just about to setup a Vue for towing...which is why I ask.
We will check on this before we get the charging wire connected on the Vue. If this is the case, then we will get the fuse disconnect switch. Thanks for the heads up!

There is also Cedar Beach Park in Stouffville. About 40 minutes from TO.
