RE: Need recommendations TC with 1st floor bed.

I dont't know if your looking used or new? But my lance 920 has a nice folding sofa that's 6' long. This is my 3rd TC and buy far my favorite. Lots of storage, nice folding couch for a bed and a large bathroom/ shower(compared to my other TCs).

Rv grill bumper mount

I would love to mount a small RV grill on the rear bumper of my lance 920 to save some storage. Does any one have any pictures of what they did? I was thinking maybe a swing out carrier but I'm open to whatever as long as it can be mounted permanently on the exterior of the camper. Thanks

Fantastic fan and vent question

Is it ok to put a cover over my fantastic fan so I can use it in damp conditions? I wasn't sure if it would restrict air flow. Thanks.

RE: Low pro lock down system

I was thinking about welding up a piece of sheet metal with a brace then bolting on the lockdown pro.

Low pro lock down system

Has anyone used the low pro lockdown system to mount their Honda to the camper bumper. If so any concerns. Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sofa or dinette?

Just wondering why one chooses a dinette over a sofa. I've had two previous tcs both the first two had dinettes, in my thinking only a dinette would work because there's three of us. We needed somewhere to eat and hang out. Now I have a slightly used lance 920 and my mind is completely changed. In my personal opinion there is so much more floor space and room to move about and still there's a table to eat. Now we're not in the TC much but when we're inside (pretty much only when it's raining or bedtime) there a nice sofa area to watch tv that is much more comfortable than hanging over a table and breaking your neck to watch tv. Just curious as to why more campers, slide outs and non slideouts don't use more sofas instead. What are your observations and why?

RE: Can anyone tell me what kind of connection this is?

RCA male plugs on speakers isn't something you'll commonly find anymore. Maybe in the '50s up into the '70s and some cheaper stereos from the '80s and '90s, but not now. All you need is an adapter like this from Amazon: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41yLqPOU6bL.jpg Then you can plug in any set of headphones or a set of computer speakers. Great idea. I was wondering if that t would work to connect computer speakers. Think that's the route I'll take.

RE: Can anyone tell me what kind of connection this is?

Thanks so much for all y'all's input. I guess I'll just keep searching for some speakers with rca cables.

Can anyone tell me what kind of connection this is?

Can anyone tell me the name of this connection. I think it's a exterior speaker connection. If so what's the name so I can find a speaker that works. I've had no luck. http://i.imgur.com/SkvrZfdl.jpg

RE: Heated tanks

Thanks guys. I looked and saw they do have heat ducts going to the tanks. After reading some old lance brochures online it pretty much has every single option you could get in 2005. Thanks again for all y'all's help

Heated tanks

How could I tell if my 05 lance 920 has heated tanks or the four season package? I looked in all the paperwork and couldn't find it. I just bought it yesterday so I pretty much know nothing about it as of now. Thanks.

RE: Photo Thread - Post a Photo of Your Truck Camper Here

Sold the 05 lance 815 today and picked this 05 lance 920 up. Wow I'm amazed at the difference in room and storage. I thought all wet baths were the same, boy was I wrong. It's fully loaded and I'm loving it. http://i.imgur.com/UqnFT0ll.jpg

Lance 920?

I have a 2007 ford f350 srw truck and currently have a 2007 lance 815. I have an opportunity to get a 2006 lance 920. The question is can I haul it easily with out modifications to my truck? I think the weight of the 920 is about 2775 pounds. Thanks for all your input.

RE: 2004 Lance 835 TC

On the 835 the shower dumps straight into black tank. You can bypass the shower so the shower water doesn't fill up the black tank

RE: 2004 Lance 835 TC

I have a 2007 lance 815 which is very similar. Mine has smaller tanks. I like it for what I use it for which is weekend get aways. Though longer than 3-5 day trips it would get tight. Any questions I might could help not quite sure what you are looking for.

Tv reception question

Ok I have 2 tvs in my lance 815. One fold down tv that's mounted above the sink under the cabinets and one in the bed area. I have a cable splitter that's coming out of the factory antenna and divides into the two tvs. The little fold down tv gets good reception say 15 channels but the big flat screen in the bed area only picks up maybe half the channels. My questions is why would 2 tvs powdered by the same antenna get totally different reception and how would I improve the tv with bad reception? Is there a difference in coax cables? Could the cable splitter be bad? Thanks!
