RE: Will RG6 improve my RG59 signal on my 5er

"The front swich box to the rear TV in my 38' er... I am sure I will notice when I do the upgrade." You won't see any difference in 38'. Any improvement will come from the new connectors installed.

RE: Surge Guard Universal Lock ??

It doesn't make any difference what kind of lock you have. If someone really wants your protector, they will get it.

RE: Cleaning the curtains in front window of coach

We washed them on gentle cycle, did a short tumble dry and the finished up with a steam iron.

RE: Windshield replacement

The OP stated that the campground will replace the windshield so why should he settle for a repair? A new one will run $800 to $1300. Replacing a windshield is major surgery. And, like major surgery, should be avoided unless necessary. On my coach it's not just replacing the windshield...two side supports, both mirrors and other things must be removed, then put back on and resealed. Replacing a windshield is not "major surgery". It is done every day and the people that replace windshields know how to do it. So, if the OP gets a "repair" and then in a year or two, the repair goes to pot, then the windshield replacement is on his dime. It is best to have the insurance company do the replacement and be done with it and to heck with the "repair".

RE: Anti Freeze

What color is the anti freeze Dennis! Color of the antifreeze has no bearing on what the chemical make up of it is and should not be used to determine whether it is propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, or a OAT extended life coolant

RE: Any Hams Here Using The WinSystem?

RE: cig smell removal how

I read that too much ozone exposure would damage rubber and maybe vinyl. One could end up with far worse problems than bad smell. Does anyone know if this is true? From what I have read, yes an over dose of ozone can damage fabrics and rubber products

RE: cig smell removal how

If you have never been a smoker, you will always be able to smell cigarette smoke no matter what is done to get rid of the smoke smell no matter what has been done. Pass on the rig.

RE: Ice Cream Sandwich

All of the android OS are named after a dessert. I guess someone wanted to make the updates mean something that we could relate to. After looking at my phone, I see nothing that relates to Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, or anything else related to food. All I see are a bunch of numbers ans letters so how does that relate to food?

RE: Question about Coach-Net Roadside Assistance

I called the teck line a couple of times and I could not believe how little they know. Just because they didn't have expert knowledge about your rig doesn't mean they are idiots. There are thousands of different rigs out there, they cannot be expert on all of then.

RE: Question about Coach-Net Roadside Assistance

I've had CoachNet for 10 years. I used them for the first time this winter for a 66 mile tow so I figure I am even as far as cost goes.
