RE: Rivering on steer tire

I had on my fronts and after few thousand moved them to the rear inside drives. GY670's put up front on developed side wall belt break starting to break rubber, so put on two Energy ZA-2's.................what a difference in ride and will replace rest later with Mich's thru FMCA Nat Tire program. Even DW noticed smooth ride of Mich's.

RE: Dynasty heat exchanger

Hi All,
Thanks for all the replies and just wanted to update. Ended up finding Prather's Radiator shop in Orlando that fixed the leak in the core, tested and put back in exchanger. $40 for the fix and glad to be up and running. Would have bought a Cozy III, but no one had on close while on vaca here in FL.

RE: 2007 dynasty Emperor

Have an '07 Dynasty Queen IV. Love it and built it just before the 425's came out with particulate filters. Was told the extra 25 hp gets used due to partic filter. Don't know, but don't have any issue up and down mountains. Can always down shift if want to burn more fuel and increase speed with 26' of car trailer too.

RE: 04 dynasty

Josam's is tops. They do a shaker test and also at the end give you diagram of the adj points for file. Makes things easier if you have to go back. Monaco paid for the trip due to G670 rivering issues.

RE: Michelin FMCA Advantage Program

Just keep in mind you still have to pay for mounting, balancin, valve stems, etc. But the discount on the tire are worth the program. Love my XZA2's. Couldn't wait to get away from GYG670's and oh, what a smoother ride.........just one opinion for what it is worth and hope I don't realize any issues I read about from those that don't like'em.

RE: Non Commercial License

Yep, ask any 10 MVA agents and get 11 different answers.......laugh. I was told the same thing and went to the doctor only to have them ask that I shouldn't need physical. You don't. Actually talked to supervisor and he said, why do you even need, most don't get. I sleep at night knowing I have lic for insurance reasons. God forbid if in accident and you don't have state required only to not have coverage, right?

RE: Why so many Goodyear G670's?

My experience has been with having found the issue of rivering on fronts, it was due to using recommended mfg pressures. Had to take two off steer and put on inside rear dually position. Since, got a better guage and pumped up the tires. On the ones rivering now in back, you can see rivered edges not hitting pavement as pressures have centers pushed out. I did last year have a side belt starting to come thru on steer tire and ended up putting Michilins XZA2 Energy's on steer wanting to try and WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWEE! The difference in smoothness up front was readily noticed. 50K miles on coach and still running all the G670's on drive/tag. Most likely will age out on those. I do keep a close eye on the rivered ones as the one edge is worn, but for the most part, it doesn't seem to effect the tire from missing that edge, for now.

RE: Aqua Hot zones

Yes, not that I have circulation, checked back later today to find fluid on the floor under core. I reached in behind and was able to pull out blue corrosion on finger, so believe leak at core. Have to take out to see if repairable and was just wondering if anyone else had found this to having to buy a core, whole unit, or if worth repairing.
Thanks,
Dan

RE: Aqua Hot zones

Hi Roger,
Tapping on check valve seemed to work. I not have fluid circulating to the exchanger in consol up front as well as at the kitchen sink base. I still dont have the lights green on panel in the bay for zones #3/#4. Only #1, 2, and 5 are lit. Maybe I never noticed and they are not used? I only have two thermostats. One on wall across from fridge with one zone and one in the bedroom with two zones I have to set. Now what started it all was seeing some seperation of the cherry moulding at the base of the front consol under radio. With that being said, do the radiators in the exchangers go bad and leak? As I said previously, we noticed the boiler fluid smell the last time coming from that consol, but did not see any fluid. I do have the drawer pulled, screws out on bracket and looking for a leak as I have heat now circulating.
Thanks Roger and to all those posting to help. This is the best source for fixing issues.
Thanks,
Dan
