Anyone replaced the dishwasher with an Oven?

We have a 2004 Itasca Horizon 40ad with a dishwasher that isn't working. We were thinking that rather than replace the dishwasher, we would prefer to have an oven. The current set up is that there is a range, then under the range is a drawer, and then under the drawer is a dishwasher. What I was thinking of doing is replacing the dishwasher with something like this: http://www.dometic.com/enie/International/Site/Caravan/Ovens/product/?productdataid=75753 I can't seem to find anyone that carries them though, and it looks like Dometic is the only manufacturer that makes ovens without the range? Has anyone ever done this before? Any other ovens that you're aware of? Thanks, Darryl

RE: One PowerGear jack won't retract-how do I manually override

Put a long pole, 2x4, under the jack and pry up on the lever, see if it moves. Does it have a spring attached to it. If so it is retracted by the spring, not by hyd. If it doesn't move then try and loosen the hyd hose and pry again. If all else fails, it should be attached to the frame by about 4 large bolts, remove them and the hose and take it to the shop. If it doesn't move from the prying, the jack is probably bent and will need to be replaced. One last question, is it HWH or Power Gear? Hope this helps Jim The Motorhome is currently being supported by the jack. So no way to get under it.

loosen the hose at jack and bleed off pressure. put rag around it so you don"t get oil over yourself. Any idea what kind of pressure its under?

RE: One PowerGear jack won't retract-how do I manually override

I found the following document: http://support.powergearus.com/techdocs/12001%20Spring%20Return%20Manual%20Retract%20lr.pdf Based on the pictures, it does not appear that I have a manual override. So how on earth do I relieve the pressure then?

One PowerGear jack won't retract-how do I manually override

Last winter I went to retract the jacks, and the rear passenger didn't retract. I figured it was the cold, so I left it until spring. I went to retract it and nothing is happening. I can hear some clicking by the jack pump. The panel shows all jacks retracted. Here's what I've done: - checked the fuse at the pump - checked the fuse at the chassis body - removed the emergency brake, put my foot on the brake, and put it into drive (nothing happened) - drained some fluid from the reservoir. Still no lights on panel. I'm at the stage where I just want to get the jack up and take it in to a shop, but I can't figure out how to manually release the pressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Details on unit: 2003 Fleetwood Bounder Powergear control panel model 500456 Pump reservoir has model S200T*4682 on it and part 500507 Part with hoses has part number 500505 Here are pictures. I took the black plastic cap off the the three cylinder things, in the hope that I could release the pressure then, but not sure what to do. http://www.chasmconsulting.ca/jacks_1.JPG http://www.chasmconsulting.ca/jacks_2.JPG http://www.chasmconsulting.ca/jacks_3.JPG http://www.chasmconsulting.ca/jacks_4.JPG

RE: HELP: Auto LP Valve not opening - no idea what to do

OK - it was the second emergency shut off switch (didn't know there was one). Had corroded wires. Thanks Everyone!

RE: HELP: Auto LP Valve not opening - no idea what to do

OK, For about a minute suddenly there was power to the shut off valve, and then gas started flowing. Then it stopped. What could possibly cause that? This is bizarre. Darryl

RE: HELP: Auto LP Valve not opening - no idea what to do

OK, I manually connected +-12V to the shut off valve and it opened it immediately. So the issue is NOT with the shut off valve - it has to do with the wiring. So if there's 12V power at the switch, where could the issue be? Darryl

RE: HELP: Auto LP Valve not opening - no idea what to do

Try turning off your LP alarm, the one with the blinking green light, wait 15-20 seconds and turn it back on. It worked for me that way. Bob Didn't help. The LP alarm also only has two wires going to it (positive and negative 12V) so I can't see how it could impact power going to the shut off valve.

HELP: Auto LP Valve not opening - no idea what to do

We're about 1500 miles from home and suddenly the fridge starts beeping while we're driving. The code indicates that the LP won't light. So we stop and I take a look at it, and figure out no gas is making it to the fridge. So I check the stove and no gas is making it to the stove either. We have an electric LP shutoff valve so I figure that's it. I crawl by the tank, and there is no power to the shut off valve. So I open up the back of the switch, and check and there is 12V power there. I checked all the fuses I could find, and none are tripped. It's in a 2005 Itasca Horizon 40ad. Anybody have any ideas?
