RE: Question about tire replacement

I too can use an education related to tires. I look at the tire topics when they get posted. I seem to remeber people buying tire and being specific about drive and steer tires. This being said what is the difference? are the front and rears interchangeable? Thank you

RE: TV/Antenna/DVD Player

If your handy with a volt meter and leads and depending on the distance from the box to coax cable end your leads maybe long enough you could check continuity to identify the wires. Your dvd player will need an RF box to hook into your switching box with coax connections. Good luck

I had the same problem a few months ago My problem was the person at the parts store was 1 number off when cross referencing the bulbs. even though the socket was the same as someone else said its wired wrong. Not your wiring the socket is wired for a different application. Go back to the parts store.

RE: Generator exhaust question

I also opted to spend the $100.00 for the Gentri and it works great easy to set up take down and store. A lot of people made their own, they too work great etc. my hats off to them. My fear is liabilty in this sue your neighbor for what you can get world we live in. At least if something happens and I end up in court the manufacturer should shoulder the liability if I use there product as they suggest.

RE: location of fuse for rear 12 volt TV

if its a 12 volt TV I don't think it would be a GFCI tripped as those are 110volt outlets. Do you have a plug that plugs into what may look like a cigarette lighter receptecal? Check the actual outlet for 12 Volts also the plug that plugs in may contain a fuse.

RE: My report on Fresh Cab mice repellant

I also bought some fresh cab, same thing. I caught a mouse right next to a bag I had placed where I think they were getting in. I think he was in the motorhome before I set out the fresh cab. I have not seen any since. At one point I had 4 traps set with peanut butter and one or more mice licked the peanut butter off the traps without tripping them. Buttered them up two more times before the ninja mouse was caught. The fresh cab does smell nice.

RE: Ever dragged at a name brand truck stop: Yes or No?

I looked at the op profile Nice rig I don't think it goes down the road quite that low I would assume he has air bags that drop when he parks? anyway I just started Towing a toad I could see where it could drag alot not just at truck stops but alover. Taking dips, bumps, driveways, etc at an angle as opposed to head on makes sense. I'll keep that in mind and practice makes perfect.

RE: The great equalizer.

Ive alwatys said at the end of the day getting into the campground it does not matter Fancy new rig , old rig, high end, low end, somebody still has to get out and hook up the poopie pipe. does not mean young, old, rich, or poor, that they have common sense.

RE: Eternabond tape = Dicor tape??? Camping World

Try calling around to roofing supply companies and ask for eternabond by name. I recently bought 6"x50' locally for a little less than the eternabond website and shipping was included in the price

RE: WalMart Tows 1.2 million dollar Prevost off lot

I think walmart policies are fair enough doesn't matter old rig new rig last month at a walmart in our area I saw the same motorhome two differnt nights set up camp in the parking lot. slide out awning out chairs the whole experince. Maybe they had permission I don't know but they were not stopped for a few hours sleep passing through. Looked to me to be taking advantage of the hospiality. Just my opinion.

RE: Making shower stall less slippery

we have the corner shower in our rig and like everyone else we use the mat with the little suction cups and trimmed it to fit works great. I remember seeing somewhere some spray to make your shower/bath less slippery. As someone else metioned be careful what you spray onto your fiberglass tub or shower good luck

RE: Banks Power Sales Rep Says

i had the banks installed on my 96 rexhall 454 i have not driven it enough to give any actual mileage info etc. I wasn't really expecting a mileage bump. I will say the engine sounds healthy with the headers. It does seem more peppy off the line stop lights etc. It seems to not work as hard on the grades I've driven around the house. If L&I ever lets me get my back fixed maybe I can hit the road and see how much difference the banks system does or doesn't make happy with it so far.

RE: Gen-turi generator exhuast system

have had one for a while and love it for all the reasons previously mentioned. I agree with the backpressure and a properly installed Genturi should not effect the generator. I would check with my generator manufacture if its under warrenty. If some thing happens and you go to a repair center and they see the genturi if they say it voids the warrenty it does not matter what we think or know
