RE: Extended service policy

I don't currently have the ESP, but from stories my friends have told me, if you follow the rules, it works. They have been saved from spending thousands of dollars on their broken fridge and slideouts by using Good Sam. It is just like anything, as long as you read and understand what the coverage is, I think you will be fine. Most people don't keep good records or do their due diligence.

RE: Jensen head unit playing DVD on TV in Jayco Greyhawk

The TV already has connection running into HDMI so it has to be coming from somewhere. The only DVD player is in the dash. Has to be configured through there somehow.

Jensen head unit playing DVD on TV in Jayco Greyhawk

Hello all. I am out camping and trying to get a movie to play on my TV. I put the DVD into my Jensen head unit and I can't get it to come up on TV. Only on the small head unit screeen. Does anyone know how to get movie on TV?

RE: Jensen radio (head unit) no power

So...after going to the RV Service Center, it turns out there is a fuse back in the area of the house battery (underneath RV) that the RV tech said I would never have found. That fuse was blown. He replaced the fuse and I was out in 10 minutes. Everything working fine. So...if this ever happens, search by the House Battery compartment outside and find the fuse that is there. Back in business. Thank all for your support. James

RE: Jensen radio (head unit) no power

Thanks all for the help. I tried all suggested here and nothing. I have a 1pm appointment with the local RV Service Center. They were able to get me in today after I just called yesterday (amazing). I will let everyone know what they find so it may help someone else in the future. Thanks for all your replies. James

RE: Jensen radio (head unit) no power

Yes. Battery disconnect is on. Everything else working fine. Just radio. Checked all fuses and everything is good in both chassis (#39 fuse) and house fuses. Very weird and frustrating.

Jensen radio (head unit) no power

Hello all. I just pulled my 2017 Jayco Greyhawk out of storage gettin ready to hit the road next week. The Jensen radio has not power at all. This head unit has Navigation and also controls my camera, so I need it to work. I assume this radio runs off of the chassis battery correct? Maybe a fuse? I can't find the fuse box. The chassis is a Ford E-450. The engine started up no problem and all other electronics work. Just the radio has no power. Any help would be appreciated! James

RE: De-Winterize then heat till depart OK?

Don't want to hijack this thread, but on the same topic. After you flush the pink stuff out of your RV, do you have to run bleach/water solution through to disinfect or can you just run clean water through several times and be OK to use the water? Thanks James

Looking for a CG near New Britain, CT

Hello all. I am looking for a campground near New Britain, CT. In looking on line, I only see a handful of options and most don't have good reviews. However, sometimes I know those reviews are bogus, so I am wondering if anyone on this forum has any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

RE: Jaycee Greyhawk 31FS bunks, bathroom door

We have the 2017 31 FS and yes, you are correct, the door hits the bottom bunk area, but I am a pretty big buy at 225lbs and I can get into the bathroom without issue. It's more of an annoyance more than anything to be honest. It was not a deal breaker for us though and love the model so far.

RE: Starting RV While Winterized

I only brought in the house battery. I also have a 30 amp connection from my garage I can plug in, but I was wondering if I keep the battery plugged into a 30amp service, will that affect the battery? Overcharge? Will the water boil off the battery or will the converter properly trickle charge it?

Starting RV While Winterized

Hello all. I have a question I am hoping I could get help with. I have winterized my class C Jayco motorhome. I pulled the battery and brought it inside my house and put it on a battery tender. I want to be able to start my RV and run the generator throughout the winter to get the fluids running through them. Do I have to reinstall the battery every time or can I run the generator without the battery on? If I can run it without, can I put a load on the generator without battery? Will the 12V items like lights run without a battery connected even though the generator is on? I am thinking I cannot and will have to reinstall the battery, but wanted to confirm. Thanks in advance for the help! James
