RE: Changed the Faucet

it is nice that hoses are attached.... but I ended up just getting a faucet wrench.... makes the job so much easier https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQuyJjcbClWMSV4jlKGOAPh0DWBzBOq5vGvrzoEETG6ryxt0_ef

RE: Water transfer pump

I am looking for some feed back on my idea for filling the fresh water tank. Sometimes when we are boon docking we need to top up the fresh water tank and we haul it in water cooler jugs. To speed up the process I was thinking of purchasing a cheap fresh water pump and wiring clips to attach to the RV battery for a 12 volt power source. Hook up FW hoses to the inlet and run another to the FW tank and pump away. It seems like a great idea for me but wanted to see what others. That is pretty much what I did.... inexpensive water pump and hook to a battery... I'm involved in remote control airplanes so I just plug it to a LiPo battery... but hooking to the house would work perfectly. I'm sure they could be found for less.. but I use one like this. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200596657_200596657 with a short section of hose on either end

RE: Dually valve extension issue, question

My "U" extensions turn all the time and at least once the tire went flat.... drives me nuts! I have thought about using safety wire to hold it in place.... small hole in the rim and run safety wire to the extension so it can't move.. and the bummer is it is impossible to get in to the base of the extension to tighten it while the wheel is still installed
