RE: Pocketable Solar Power?

Just get one of the mood rings from the ‘60’s and put a + and – wire in the setting and your phone will be charged with emotion. :)

IT WAS SO SAD

The other night we were sitting in our 45 foot Prevost watching an old movie on one of the several large screen TV’s on board. It was a sad movie so that with the wonderful surround sound system you could hear the heroine’s tears run down her cheek as she said ‘Good Bye” to the dog she had loved for so long. :W
I handed my wife a box of Kleenex to dab her eyes. We’ve had the brand around since forever. As I picked it up I noticed there was no label stating Safe for septic and RV tanks. Are Kleenex safe to flush?

Continuing education?

My smart phone is smarter than I am. While listening to Pandora it asks me if I remember the last song and then warns me that my mind may be GOING. And then it offers me a program of complex games and puzzles to combat Alzheimer’s.
This group seems to have several members that have reached the age o respectability and maturity. Is anyone going back to school or taking classes “for fun and profit”?
Barns and Noble used to have free college classes on line but that seems to have gone away. Anyone know of any other such offerings? (Maybe a USAFI – like program)

RE: Jack Reacher

We went to see the movie because the Reacher books are well written with unexpected twists. The movie does well in exposing what a one dimensional actor Cruise is.

Do the animals know?

We have a fair amount of wildlife in our yard in Northern Idaho. It’s been a little cold lately, especially at night.
Do the birds, squirrels and deer know that they feel cold? Do they hide under the snow covered pines or in a dark hovel in a tree and talk to their buddies? ‘In my next life I’m coming back as a human’.

RE: Road (?) to Yellow knife

To be safe here in Idaho we have deer whistles on our vehicles. Their function is to let the deer know we are coming. Since deer and buffalo share many of the bovine characteristic will the Canadian buffalo respond the same way to my deer whistles, or do I have to get special Buffalo Whistles for the trip? :)

Road (?) to Yellow knife

Crossing in at Porthill how is the road up to Great Slave Lake. More to the point: Is it a rational trip for a large (6 cylinders) moyorcycle? It's been in the back of my mind for a long time and now that I'm retired I'm emptying my head. :W

A LITTLE POP UP

I just purchased a new 2012 Roll A Home. It’s the Wide Bed Model with a king sized bed when the 6 foot slide is out. It's advertised to be pulled either by a motorcycle or a small car. The GoldWing 1500 pulls it just fine as will the Subaru, but my wife wants to hitch it to her Toyota Sequoia.
I don’t like the idea at all! Going down the road the length of the unit is 6 ½ feet (+ tongue), 48 inches wide. Height is 32 inches and a weight of 425 lbs.
Besides not being able to see the toad is the wind flow off of the high profile SUV a problem? What other negatives are there?
