RE: Garmin

Additionally, for the Web Updater, you have to have the USB cord to hook up to the computer.

RE: Cold Air Intake

Ha Ha does this sound familiar. I put a K & N on this 454, removed the intake adapter from the air cleaner and now it sounds like a Monster Motor. Lots of noise at WOT but I'm not sure I gained ANY mpg. May have in fact lost some because I like the sound. DW thinks I've gone back to my GTO days. (I wish)

RE: awnings

Not to be a smart a.., but is the awning strap in the center of the roller? Occssionally I have rolled mine up and had it off and when I unrolled it I saw my strap way more than just a few inches off center.

RE: insignia remote speaker

We have 2 wireless speakers on our LCD TV in our TT that we bought from Kohls. When you buy the wireless speakers it comes with a receiver which one end plugs into the headphone/microphone input on the TV and the plug end of the receiver plugs into the ac outlet. The speakers take D cell batteries or optional is ac power. Turn power on receiver, turn power on both speakers, hit auto tune and adjust volume with wireless remote. Good Base and Surround Sound where you place the speakers.Sounds like a plan. Thanks

Networx on a VPN connectio

I work on a program, on a remote computer via a VPN connection. Can I use Networks to track my online usage on my home computer. I won't be able to see the meter on my home screen. All I can see is the remote desktop.

RE: Different year chassis

Thanks for all of your information, I don't feel quite so bad! I only wish the salesperson had been upfront with us.I doubt the sales guy knew.

RE: Good Sam Membership Cards

Actually, I don't think it makes any difference if you do not have the new card or not. It is usually identical to your old card except for a new expiration date. If you need ERS all you need do is give them your number. Same goes for campground discounts. I have found that it didn't make any difference if I had my current card in my wallet or not.
BarneyAll you need is the membership number. Having an up-to-date card is insignificant.

RE: Is there software that determines on-line usage

I downloaded Networx and it works very well. Is there a way to utilize it if I am working on a remote computer thru a VPN?

RE: Hankook Tires

I have them on the front of my "C". Excellent. I'd have them on the rear but were not available out in the corn fields of Illinois when I needed them. Why? The rears should be the same size and patterns the fronts.Like I said, when I needed 4 for the rear, the tire dealer out in the Illinois cornfields didn't have them in stock and I was not willing to sit 3 days and wait on them. However, the 4 BCT's he sold me have done nicely. bout 8k miles on them and no issues.

RE: Is there software that determines on-line usage

I just downloaded Networx. In the last 2 hours I've used 8Mb. Looks like I'll need to pay attention to my usage. I don't stream videos but I use a computer for work so I am on one 8+ hours a day. I recently purchased a new Verizon air card and will be doing all my work with it.

Get two and sew them together?
Thanks for the suggestion, but best I could find was NAPA Auto Parts @ $70. I don't think so.

Cab-Over Storage Containment

I have removed the bed components from the cab-over area and installed a 26" LCD TV, and some Storage bins. I'd like to have the added security of a net type restraint covering the full width of this area for safety. Pick-up tailgate nets are likely only 48" wide. This bed area is 94". I would greatly appreciate some suggestions.

RE: Battery boxs

I once had a metal shop build me a heavy gauge galvanized battery box that I bolted to the frame of the TT, just behind the hitch, which I assume yours was. It had a hinged top that pad locked and just large enough for a few extras like a cheap battery tester, terminal brush, etc.
