RE: Sterilizing Water System

Thanks to everyone! I'll try to locate and figure out which valves need to be turned in which direction, if'n that don't work, I'll try the "bleach into hose" suggestion. Thanks again!

RE: Sterilizing Water System

My Coachmen has a waterworks panel with the valves for winterizing that is also used to draw in bleach water for sanitizing. It should be near the valves used to manage all water flow to the coach. Mine came with a short hose w/fittting that is screwed into the inlet and the other end placed in the bleach solution. Turning on the pump and settig the valves to sanitize sucks the solution into the water tank. Yours should be very similar. I'll take another look at the panel. I thought the pump just pumped water into the coach, not into the water tank. The pump is kind of up under the panel on the right and the valves I think your referring to are the ones located on the left side of the compartment. Sound familiar?

Sterilizing Water System

I have a 40' 2011 Coachmen Sportscoach DP. The only way I can think of to add bleach to the water tank is to buy a pump and force it in using the water fill connection. Is this correct or am I missing something? Thanks To All

RE: Northern California Big Rig Friendly State Parks

We have a 42' DP and have no problem getting in and out at Caspar Beach Campground. It is between 2 hills with lots of trees just accross a 2 lane road from a very nice beach thats in a "horse-shoe" shaped cove. Spots are kind of close together but other then that its a very clean park. Its located between Ft. Bragg and Mendocino.
