RE: Campgrounds along Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge Parkway

We've been to Bear Den when we had a pop up. It's a great place for kids, busy activities in the summer. I believe it's open year round.

RE: rv insurance

That is almost impossible to answer as we are all in different areas and require different things. Start making phone calls. Go with RV insurance as they have better coverage. Geico and Progressive are popular. There are many out there. I carry full time insurance with National Insurance. I don't have an engine and transmission to pay insurance on.

RE: Slide outs good or bad?

We heard the horror stories too. We went for it anyway and won't look back. Our slides have never failed but we made sure we had a manual way to get them in and out. We also got slide toppers. Again heard the horror stories. Love them and will put them any future RV.

RE: Considering VuQube VQ1000

With the VuCube and DirecTV you can't get HD. Doesn't matter if you have the 1000 or the 2000. DirecTV is very easy with the VuCube

RE: Air conditioner

My 15,000 btu was replaced with DuoTherm. I don't think it coils as well as the Carrier. (Under warranty) I never was impressed with DuoTherm

RE: Visited Las Vegas in the RV

Fantastic camera you got there. Don't know what kind it is. That picture of Boulder Dam made me kinda homesick. We spent 3 winters boondocking at Lake Mead,NRA

RE: Slide out awning??

Where our topper meets the TT, DH ran a strip of Eternabond. (Also did the same thing on the main awning). 4 years and all are still fine. We've been in the high winds of the desert as all as Tropical Storm winds in FL. Bringing our slide in is really not an option. Thinner people could move between living/kitchen area to bathroom/bedroom area. However we are not thinner people.

RE: Ninja Cooking System

For me, yes. It does more than just a crock pot. Facebook if you do search for Ninja Cooking System there area group of people that talk about the system. There are recipes in the comment area.

RE: Ninja Cooking System

I love mine. Purchased at BJ's for 150.00. Everything has cooked just like the cookbook says. Tonight is Quick Shrimp Scampi, tomorrow will be a beef meal since it's cold here in S. Florida Even cakes come out like they say. I'm making oven meals that I didn't before cause I didn't want to heat up the TT.

RE: CW serv. dept. wrecked our RV lied and tried to hide it

Once you mention Lawyer all communication will stop. Who's the guy here, Marcus? That represents CW? Send him a PM. Remember do not mention Lawyer. See what happens after you speak to him. From this moment on all communication must be in writing. If anything is mailed out send it certified, return receipt requested. Don't make any threats (yet). Give Marcus a chance to answer you. Corporate is your next step.

RE: HD Truck Owners- why did you choose a TT?

I'm in agreement about 10k less. Back of truck has all DH's stuff. Single floor plan. When we bought the truck our intentions were to move up to a 5er but the above ruled out. My balance became an issue. I'm always falling.

RE: Leak on fresh water tank

Although we have a TT. DH removed the bottom of the trailer covering our grey tank and used Eternabond on the crack. Good as new. It's a thought.
