RE: Spicy Crock Pot Alfredo Ravioli
hmmm...I'd like to try it.
My problem is that I am at work all day and like to put things in when I leave at 7:30 am and I do not get home until 5:30. Do you think the ravioli will hold up that long or will I come home to a crockpot full of yummy mush? :E
I don't think it would hold up that long. I have an electronic crockpot and so the first time I made it I cooked it on low for 3 hours and then had it auto switch to warm and it was on warm for 5 - 6 hours and held up okay that way.
RE: Spicy Crock Pot Alfredo Ravioli
Made this tonight - OK, this was seriously very YUMMY! Try it, guys! Again, thanks for posting!
So glad ya liked it and thanks for trying it.
RE: Spicy Crock Pot Alfredo Ravioli
Summer you actually know how to cook?
No I don't know how to cook...that's why I was so excited I could cook something that tasted good :)
RE: We no longer have an rv- UPDATE Page 9

Spicy Crock Pot Alfredo Ravioli
I can't believe that I am being brave enough to post this recipe BUT...I served it up to my hubby....and he 'said' he loved it..but no real proof..as he loves me and so he can't be trusted :):W...
So served it up at the deer lease (doubled the recipe) and them there redenecks were scraping the bottom of the crockpot :R
So feeling confident at this point...it was my contribution to the camping group potluck...
Oh they definately loved it...told me so and asked for the recipe..so hopefully ya'll will enjoy the same :)
From happynanna @ www.recipezaar.com
24 ounces sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce (I had 16 ounce jars and used 1 1/2 jars)
1 (20 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel tomatoes & chilies (do not drain)
2 teaspoons minced garlic (can use more or less)
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning (add more if desired) (optional) (I used it the first 2 times and completely forgot the last time for the potluck)
kosher salt
fresh ground pepper (forgot this all 3 times but don't think it would've hurt nothing to add it)
parmesan cheese (okay I splurged on this part...and used freshly graded parmigiano reggiano)
Directions
1Spray crock pot with cooking spray. (I used crockpot liners)
2Spread enough sauce to coat and cover the bottom of the pot.
3Add frozen raviolis; spread around evenly.
4Add undrained can of rotel tomatoes.
5Spread the rest of the alfredo sauce over raviolis.
6Sprinkle with garlic, italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
7Sprinkle parmesan evenly over the top.
8Cook on low for 4 hours (if your crockpot runs hot check at 3 hours).
9Serve with additional parmesan cheese.
EAT UP !!!
RE: Could you or couldn't you?
A while back the "litter box cake" was going around. It was sorta cute, with tootsie rolls and all. DW made it and took it to school for a function. About 3/4 of the folk would not touch it. Very interesting.
Yeah...funny thing that is....not that it'd bother me all that much...but just that fact the all those other folks would be bothered....enough to keep me from crossing that line...just in case I'm the one wrong :B
RE: When the wife don't listen
I gave that a thought...but she looked pretty freaked out to me :B:B
So I chose to believe it...color me stupid if ya gotta to :)
RE: When the wife don't listen
To the doom and gloomers :W
I'm pretty sure he made sure the gun was unloaded and there were no bullets laying around...
So as I see it....right smart lesson...in need of learning...I'm just so glad we all get to see it.
