RE: Can you heat a Class B motorHome the sam way as a car.

I believe we have a troll among us. Check the OP's handle... if i was a troll i can't imagine getting excited about a car/van heater. what's the point:? i just realized this is under the diy catagory. i actually think it's legit-just somewhat naive.

RE: First Ram Promaster van class B

I think Ford and the new Chrysler vans will push Sprinter out as quickly as the RV converters can get up to speed. The 3.6 Litre Gas engine will be a liability. It appears they are not offering the Diesel like they do here. Not exactly great thinking there. The Insides of the Winnebago version, especially the collapsing bed look a bit pedestrian. I wonder what its towing capacity will be. The ability to safely use a hitch mounted cargo rack or even a small enclosed trailer will come into handy. Not much. You get a lot more with the diesel. http://www.tradingpost.com.au/is-bin/intershop.static/WFS/Telstra-TradingPost-Site/Telstra-TradingPost/en_AU/UserImages/volume1/d5/w6/d58KoQwjqDEAAAEd590RtDw6/il/qE/ilsKoQwlJzsAAAE7XZ8tE9qE/Resized/Resized640x480_motorhome%20sale%20065.JPG The Diesel makes a big difference in the towing performance http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5135/ducatotowingjeep.jpg http://liveimages.industrysales.com.au/caravancamping/general/content/gc5307047617521597265.jpg?width=300 Mr. Ryan, you are saying the diesel desire from the point of view of europe/australia which is predominently diesel. here in the USA most people DON"T want diesels. We want gasoline. the reason sprinter based b's are mostly bought here is because WE HAVE NO CHOICE. if you want the physical dimensions of a sprinter you have to take diesel-thats all there is. the combination of gas transit/provan will decimate sprinter b. Have a nice day:B

RE: Freedom Elite 23U

I believe freedom elite is campingworlds "house brand". currently they are built by thor(prior they were coachmen). they are copies of thors four winds C models. i suggest you price a four winds 23u at rvdirect to give you an idea. i personally would buy sunseeker 2300 instead

Thanks for the inputs and pictures...... I am also thinking about installing some Scissor Jacks to help with the swaying....Any ideas on those??????? Thanks for the input..... bigfoot has rear stabilizers for sprinter based rv and now also has power levelers made just for sprinter based rv.

RE: Ducted A/C vs Non-Ducted

some of these posts mention 2 air conditioners. in general if you only have one AC ducted is better the difference with sunseeker is all models have ducted ac. in other brands mostly the smaller units have non ducted and the bigger ones ducted sunseekers also have enclosed tanks and dump station. i would go with sunseeker

RE: Triple EEE Regency with Murphy Bed

Well today we did it! We ordered a Triple EEE GT24MB. It will take until July to get it so lots of waiting but the anticipation is exciting. For those who own one of these units, we are wondering if you have had many issues with things going wrong or warranty issues. Our dealership is pushing an extended warranty package costing about $2700 for 5 years with a $200 deductible. We can't decide if we need this or not. I guess it is a gamble. Triple EEE have a reputation of being a very well built unit but all brands have their problems and flaws. What did you do? Opinions please search classbgirl on this site. she has owned this model for about a year

RE: Weekend shopping for small class C

Dakzuki, I too have wondered about the odor and soot smoke. Is that what the polution control exhaust canister resolves? I forget it's name. How effective is it at eliminating the diesel smell and smoke? Also, does the older Sprinter with the L5 engine have that device, or does it still have the bad pollution condition? Ron, the 2007 model year(for sprinter) has the DPF-diesel particulate filter- i assume that would make model year of 2008 and forward rv having the dpf

RE: January Class B Sales Up 23.8%

about the topic of the thread. Not to sound negative-although it is- if 200 total class b's sold in 2011-then 245 sold is 23 percent increase. still not a lot sold

RE: January Class B Sales Up 23.8%

We were planing to order a Airstream Avenue in December was planing to go to the Airstream factory in Jackson Center, Ohio in September on our way to Indiana, unable to do that now. On our way to Logansport, IN we will stop at the Sportsmobile factory in Huntington IN as we pass through Huntington as they still build on the Ford and Chevy chassis. Ron the airstream avenue suite model seemed aok Ron i suggest you wait for the transit model from sportsmobile

RE: Sprinter Class B Lengths - and other ?? from a newbe

the best available option that sportsmobile offers is the underfloor danhard ac option. if touring stealth is a requirment the absence of a roof air conditioner is number one.
