Do you have a Good Sam Rand McNally RVND-7725-Lm GPS

Looking at this unit. Whats your experiance with it? We are most interested in the weight/height/length route features. Are there any any extra costs for update downloads other then when using the wi-fi feature. Would you recommend this GPS ?? Thanks, Glenn & Jo

RE: Question for Ford 7.3 owners?

I appreciate all the responces, even you 2oldmen! Thanks to suggestions, the trans seems to be the biggest up coming problem, I think we will attack getting a new performance transmission and chip it instead of wasting money on just the converter and get it taken care of now instead of breaking down in some one horse town. Once again thank you all for your suggestions and responces, its good to hear that most of the responces were in favor of the 7.3 We hope to run across some of you on the road in the up coming years! Any more suggestion are still appreciated! Glenn Vancouver, WA.

Question for Ford 7.3 owners?

We have a 2000 F350 7.3 auto. crew cab DWR 1T, 2 wheel drive with 105k 3.73 rear gear stock 4" exhaust, stock air intake. We are towing a 38' 2005 Open Road 5ver. Ok that should give you an idea of my stats, now my question is to you owners of this beast, any suggestions on improvements I can make to this motor or any trouble spots to watch for? What are your thoughts on chipping the motor? K&N air system? Am going to have the tork converter pulled out and a three stage put in to control the shifting in and out and chipping the tranny with a edge tuner. We are going full-time on the road in one year and would appreciate any comments or suggestions you pro's out there have. I know you Dodge & Chevy fans have your suggestions, I already have a boat anchor.LOL. I'm on a low budget and really like this truck....now if any of you Chevy fans would like to drop off a new DuraMax at my door step, no complaints. Thank you for your suggestions,
