RE: BIG SLIDE PROBLEM!!! PLEASE HELP!!! *****UPDATE******

We had that happen two years ago. We had sheared a pin in the pinon gear. If you can get the slide in you can change the pin in the gear.

RE: Gas stations inbetween Lakeview, OR to Winemmuca, NV?

We drove it a number of years ago and there was nothing between them. We filled up in Winemmuca but were in a Honda accord and we were okay.

RE: Oregon Coast suggestions

If you choose South Beach, it is nice, make your reservations as soon as possible. Also they have no sewer hookups just a dump station.

RE: rt. 101 in oregon

Not problem with your rig size. Just remember it is not a fast trip up 101 but you will enjoy the drive it is very scenic.

RE: Oregon Coast suggestions

Both Washburn and Cape Blanco are non reservation Oregon state parks with an easy walk to the ocean. Mid week mid day should be easy to checkin. Washburn has a trail under the highway to the beach. Both parks are very nice.

RE: Questions about specifc campsite numbers at 3 OR Coast Parks

At Beverly Beach I would pick the longer one B-6 just for the extra room. They are both nice sites. Actually at all the parks take the longer one. My maps show a few feet difference. The difference will really be important at Cape Lockout because there is a lot of vegetation at the back of the sites there, which is unusall for Oregon State Parks. Enjoy your trip.

Twin Falls to Missoula route

What is best towing road to Missoula from the Twin Falls/Boise area? Would you go Hwy 93 from Twin Falls to Missoula or is 56 from Boise to Grangeville and then 13 & 12 to Missoula a better road. It looks like there is a high pass on 93. Oh we will be going in late June if that matters. Thanks for any help.

RE: First vacation in RV. Need your advice

I would not rely on a map program for driving times. They usually go by miles and don't take hills and two lane slower roads in to consideration when estimating times. When you get into Yellowstone the driving will be really slow. In the summer also Yellowstone does road work. It took us more than two hours to drive from Moran Junction(which is right outside The Tetons)to Fishing Bridge a few years ago. So allow yourselves extra times especially in the parks. The Tetons are awsome.

RE: I guess it's GoodBye

I agree with you, they were not there yesterday that I noticed. I have been on the site about two minutes and had to close the pop up window about ten times this is rediculous especially with the economy in the dumps. They should be trying to keep us happy not anoy us. And spell check it not working right. So this is another big GOOD BY.

RE: yellowstone - canyon campground w/travel trailer

Maybe you can disconect and park beside your trailer. That is what you have to do at Fishing Bridge.

RE: BC-WA-OR-CA-NV-AZ-UT-WY-MT-AB Suggestions

I would go Oregon Coast down to The Redwoods south of Eureka, Ca then head east and see Yellowstone and The Tetons. On the Orgon coast Oregon state parks are a good value. Check out www.oregonstateparks.org to pick some coastal parks to spend the night at. The San Fransico area is too hectic and not worth the trip.
