RE: Costco 6V Batts

I have 2 Costco 6v batteries that are 3 years old, and two that are 2 years old. I actualy lent 2 of my batteries to a fellow camper and proudly proclaimed to him that he couldn't wear them out in one night. He turned on every light and ran the heater on well above norm all night. In the morning he easily started the generator and then returned my batteries and promptly bought his own. This is testimony enough for me. Do you have 4 batteries in you Toy Hauler? Yes I do, and I love em!

RE: Oven Burns EVERYTHING What Can I do to Fix

U are setting all foods on a rack that is above the actual burner shelf arent you? I would just raise my wire rack up one in order to separate my food from the flames a little more.

DoH! Now my neighbors are saying that spangler isn't right for them. They want to play on "the wall" in Dove Springs. Since this is the maiden voyage of their new sand car, we are supposed to stay at Butterbredt Road. We will be at the last one near the power lines.....unless they change their mind again!

DoH! I won't be going out until the 21st of November and staying until the 28th of November for turkey day. My calendar says that Thanksgiving is on November 19th but the school calendar says it is on November 26th so I have to go with the school calendar. I repeat, I will be going out from the 21st to the 28th of November. We will be at the notta rally site I'm bringing my street bike....somehow...

RE: Solar Power

I have been buying the cheapo solar panels from Harbor Freight. They cost less than 200 dollars for 3 panels. they come with a regulator that is super easy to understand. Just wire the panels to the regulator and the regulator to the batteries. I camp for 6 to 8 days at a time and I only run my generator for coffee and microwave. I can turn on a movie at night and let it run till I fall asleep and still have plenty of power in the morning to turn over my gen when making coffee. The key is to have either 2 or 4 six volt batteries.

RE: DIfferent battery post sizez?

I thought the fridge got its cold from the freezer. Isn't there a little slide on the fins at the back of your fridge that controls the temp?
