RE: Birds and Trailer Hitch

I used bounce sheets and it seems to keep them away.

RE: Anti-sliders

I thought I should of had one until I started driving my rig. Now I realize I don't. If it gets to tight turning just straighten out and try again. I am glad I saved the money.

RE: What should roof look like

My book says "Because of the manufacturing process, air pockets and/or visible spots may be seen in the rubber roof. These visible spots can be caused by debris (wood, staples, screws, etc.) that are between the rubber roof and decking or by imperfections occurring during the rubber roof manufacturing. In most cases, these are considered cosmetic in nature and seldom require any corrective action."
For what that's worth

RE: Leaky Water Heater

When my Suburban water heater heats up, the water expands out of the relief valve as it should, but it collects in the water heater flange and leaks into the storage area. You can put a fitting and hose on the relief valve to redirect the water out of the heater area and make sure the flange is sealed up to the body of the water heater. I had this problem on two rv's and this solved the problem.

RE: AWNINGPRO-TECH

I just used a piece of 4" PVC drain pipe, the thin walled stuff and split it taking out about 2". Slide it over the awning and use wrap around velcro on each end. I leave it on while I drive and take it off when I need it. Cost about $12.

RE: Stabilization

I put Winfield stabilizers on the landing gear. No drilling holes just bolt on and I love them. They really made the front of the rig stable. I think I paid $200.

RE: Endcap for Short Bed Trucks

We have a Cougar with a rounded end cap towed with a '07 Chevy 6'6" bed and have never needed a slider hitch. I wouldn't want to turn any tighter than it will go.
