How to improve tv sound?

I have a two year old Samsung TV. Built-in speakers are terrible. What would be the best way to improve the sound quality? I'd prefer not to add another remote, as i have to use three already: tv remote, cable provider remote, and apple TV gizmo.
Thanks in advance for good advice.

RE: Public shooting ranges in Apache Junction area?

Go North of McKellips on Ellsworth to Rio Salado Shooting range. Everything you would want. Whole day time fees.
This is the one I practice on as well. A well organized range with reasonable daily fees.

RE: Gas prices in AZ are going to make you happy!

For the ones that are not happy, Venezuela is the answer. Or take a look at this:

to pick us some other choice locations of happiness.

RE: CAN/US$ Exchange

After a few fraudulent charges in the neighbourhood of $500 - $1000 to our visa account we now use cash for everything. Visa is for emergency use only.
This year we will travel (beside cash) with a money order from our US account to ourselves and cash it at the local bank.
By the way, anything over $10,000 has to be declared at the border.

RE: Palm Springs or Phoenix? First snowbird trip..

$500, or $700/mo is nickels and dimes comparing to other expenses associated with RVing. On our very modest arrangement (27' 5th wheel and 1 ton diesel truck) yearly depreciation was in the neighbourhood of $10,000. Then the cost of maintenance, insurance, fuel, medical, just to name a few.
In my opinion, about $700/mo should cover pad rental in a very nice RV park in Phoenix, or Palm Springs areas. Electricity may be another $50. And this is about it.

RE: Palm Springs or Phoenix? First snowbird trip..

Do both and you will not regret. It will be easier for you to make a decision in the future.
We travelled through both states for a few years before settling in Canyon Vistas RV Resort, Gold Canyon, Az. Very nice park!

RE: Feeling better in the Heat!

Absolutely, big difference!
As soon as we cross Siskyu Pass and enter Sacramento Valley (coming from Victoria on I-5) my joints are pain free and they stay like that until we enter Oregon on the way back home.
My joints are very happy in Arizona. I hate to think what we'll do when we wont be able to travel south due to increased medical insurance costs.

RE: What plan for Ipad?

There are two kinds of iPads WiFi only, and WiFi with Cellular data. Which one do you have?
Mine is the 3rd generation (with retina display) and 4G LTE. I need internet connection while on the road.
I understand that both AT&T and Verizon have flexible plans that I can use. All I need is a Simm card and a contract. Need your advice on which plan is more practical, how easy is to activate it, and how quickly the limit of let say 2 gb will disappear from my account. Also, how easy (or difficult) is to cancel the plan.

RE: What plan for Ipad?

That was quick, thanks.
We'll be staying on the main freeways and in Mesa, so coverage should not be a problem.
Now, which plan should I purchase and how far it will take me? Will $20 plan be enough for some occasional skyping and browsing? Another words, how those plans work in real world?
Thanks.

What plan for Ipad?

We'll be travelling in the states for four months. Would like to have my Ipad 2 connected. It looks like there are two choices: AT&T and Verizon. Please advice on better plan and what to expect from it.

RE: Banking in USA

Lots of good responses. Thanks.
We should be able to figure something out. Between an account with Wells Cargo, some cash, and Visa, we'll be ok.
After all, spending money should be a piece of cake in our consumer driven society. Even making it was not that bad....

RE: Interesting route Victoria, BC to Phoenix, Az

Thanks to all for good hints.
We may take US 97 and US 395 through Reno and Nevada, as we've been on the other ones on numerous occasions. That however will depend on the snow load through the Sierras.
Pete and Terry, see you soon in Gold Canyon. Drive safe!

Interesting route Victoria, BC to Phoenix, Az

So, we'll be travelling light this year without 5th wheel. Normally we'd take Coho ferry, then through Olympia to Bakersfield, then Needles and Parker. But without towing we'd like to explore more. Will be driving around November 15. Any ideas?
By the way, we don't have 4x2 and I prefer to avoid snow and ice.

Banking in USA

We (from Canada) are making arrangements to purchase a new park model in Phoenix area. That will be associated with lots of expenses like initial purchase, improvements, furniture, and so on for the total of perhaps $70,000.
We have an US$ account in our local credit union. Unfortunately, they are not connected to any banking institutions in the states. My question:
- what is the most practical way for us to start spending money in the states without carrying too much cash?

RE: holes in truck's bed

As others have mentioned, I'd just use one of the plastic plugs to cover the holes. I have to admit I'm impressed with how clean and undamaged the bed of your truck looks. My trucks a 2011, and the bedliner looks considerably more worn and used than yours.
Yes, I'm impressed too. 5years old and it looks like new. Line-x is a good product, but I also have a bed cover while not towing. And for hauling gravel and soil I use an utility trailer.
Anyway, thanks all for good advices.

holes in truck's bed

I removed Superglide and superrails from my truck. What is left after are ugly holes. I need your advice on how to cover those holes and with what? Bottom of the truck's bed is corrugated and line-x finished, as shown:

Thank you in advance for the words of wisdom.
Yes, I forgot to add: the holes are 1-3/4" in diameter.
