RE: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6dot6 - what model is that? Was also wondering, what is that partition looking thing coming out of the side? Never saw something like that.
I think you are looking at the side of the slideout, the picture is playing a trick on your eye!

RE: Keystone Bullet Premier

Hi,
I just bought a 2012 "used" 31BHPR. Going to get it May 17!
It will be stationary most of the time, but I plan to rent a 2500 RAM once a year to go out for a week.
Anyway...
I was wondering what people bought for the exterior carpet. I'm wondering if I should get one that goes from the outdoor kitchen all the way to the front door (25 feet long x 9 feet???), or get 2 individual ones...
Thanks!
Congrats and enjoy! I like the RV carpets that are made from the plastic material because they are light, sweep off easily and don't hold water. I use two to go from door to door. I go on several trips a season so having two smaller lighter ones is better for me.

RE: Which brands carry U shaped dinette?

I have a U-dinette now and miss my bench dinette in my previous trailer. I thought it was more functional and comfortable. I would be happy to trade. Haha.

RE: Cats and counter tops

Cats do not like the scent of citrus. I trained them to stay off my dining chairs by putting a lime scented tea light (not lit of course) on each dining chair. They never went back to them after jumping up once. Maybe a lemon or lime scented Glade/Airwick plug-in at the counter?

RE: East thru Ct to Cape Cod

Southern CT I would do I-95 north to I-195 east to its terminus where you would take MA 25 south to the Bourne Bridge over the Cape Cod Canal.
I-84 will take you to The Mass Pike (I-90). I-90 east to I-495 south where it turns into MA 25 to the Bourne Bridge.

RE: Keystone Bullet Premier

Our gas/electric refrigerater has decided not to work except when it wants. It is parked and plugged in. We discovered it wasn’t working about 2 weeks ago. Then next time we checked it was cold again. Now it has become a daily check. One day it is cold, the next warm. The only thing happening is someone going in and opening the door and feeling. Anyone have any ideas?
Yellow powder in the exterior vent now could actually be pollen in Texas this time of year. We have had a few warm days and cool nights lately. Is the A/C keeping the TT constant temp inside? Curiously following this post because I thought mine possibly doing the same thing. I have a temp gage inside fridge and know what setting the fridge will cool down to.
When I had the yellow powder it was very concentrated in one area as if it fell out of an hour glass. (Does that even make sense? Haha) it wasn't widespread the way pollen coats everything.

My refrigerator did the same and then the cooling core failed. It was replaced free under warranty. I think the refrigerators have a 2 year warranty. Open the fridge vent from the outside and if you see a yellow pollen like substance that is a good indicator it is almost done.

RE: Keystone Bullet Premier

Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and buying my first travel trailer. I have tent camped for years and my grandparents had TT's and I have been recently with friends who have a pop-up.
My wife and I have been searching for about a year now and we finally decided to go with a 2013 Keystone Premier 31BHPR. We looked at so many and it came down to a 2012 Palomino T-291, 2013 Solaire 317 BHSK, 2013 Keystone Outback (with queen bed slider in back) and the 31BHPR.
My tow rig is a 2011 CC Nissan Titan SV 4x4. I have Bilstein Shocks, Nitto Terra Grappler e rated tires, Magnaflow muffler, and Volant cold air intake. I am getting a programmer this week. I normally tow a 25' deck boat about every weekend from spring to fall. My boat is right around 6500lbs loaded with water, fuel and gear, and the truck tows it great.
I think I should be fine towing this camper, as it will be mainly used spring through fall at our lake property. I will only be towing around 20 miles round trip on fairly flat roads. But I plan to venture out to some campgrounds later this year.
Any advice and tips for a newbie would be appreciated and I look forward to being a part of this forum.
Hello. I also tow a Premier with a Titan. Up until February I used an 06 Titan Crew Cab 4x4. In mid February I bought a new 2012 Titan SL Crew Cab. I have not towed with the new one yet.
My Premier is about 500 lbs lighter (5900 dry/ 6700 lbs loaded), 1.5 feet shorter, and about 120 lbs lighter on the tounge. There is only 2 of us so we are under payload for the truck after adding in tounge weight, bicycles, etc. The truck pulls it nicely. I have pulled mainly on flat roads in eastern MA but have towed it through the hilly Green Mountains in Vermont and the Catskills in NY. I do not think I would want to tow a bigger camper since it is a comfortable tow now but I am not sure HOW much bigger the 31BHPR relatively and in real world towing experience.

RE: Self Adhesive Kitchen Tile Mod 2013

My wife and I were looking at those sheets in the Home Depot store the other day. I didn't pick one up and thought they were glass. They are pricy 9 to 12 bucks a square foot. They have them in the store if anyone wants to look at them Lots of different types.
Your install looks very nice tho.
I would like to know what store you saw them at? I asked at two different HD and neither had them, then they told me it was a online order only. I would love to see them in the store.
Unfortunately they are an online item only. I installed them and they may not be 100% like the backsplash tile in your house but they are waaaay better than the wallpaper borders!

RE: Installing Fantastic Fan - power on Cougar TT

I have a Keystone Premier. I did the same thing. My vent was just a couple of feet from the microwave above the stove. I removed the microwave and put it aside. Next I drilled a small hole in the ceiling above where the microwave would sit in the cabinet. Then, I removed the plastic bevel around the vent. After that I was able to fish a straightened coat hanger from the vent to above the small hole where the microwave was. Using the coat hanger I attached the wire and fished it through the ceiling. I tapped the wire into powered stove vent that sits just below the microwave. It has constant power and not dependant upon the ceiling lights being on.

RE: 2008 Antigua 215 SSO ??

I believe this camper is a hybrid travel trailer and you might have better luck in that section on the forum. I did have a Starcraft Travelstar 19ck hybrid which is a different floor plan and a different line. The Antigua and the Travelstar were essentially the same trailer just different decor's inside and out. Same floor plans and construction etc.
Mine did have a rubber roof and I did go up there from time to time for maintenance. I would not walk on it regularly but it would support me.
Hope I was able to help a little,

I used a utility knife with a new blade and a metal ruler to cut straight. Worked well.

RE: Self Adhesive Kitchen Tile Mod 2013

@gregrc75 Yes,you did,and nice job, too! Since your install is a little older than mine, would you mind giving your opinion on how the tiles are working out? I noticed that some posters were concerned about heat from the stove, long lasting adhesion, etc. Let us know!
Well, I did it in January and it is holding up perfectly. I have not camped and used the stove since, however. I actually have about 5" from the stove to the backsplash. There is a bit of counter space between the stove and the wall so I do not think it will be an issue in my camper.

RE: Self Adhesive Kitchen Tile Mod 2013

Great work! I did the same mod, with the same tile, back in January. I posted it in the travel trailer section in the Keystone Bullet Premier thread. I love how it came out. You used more than I did and it looks great! Here is a link to my "remodel." Scroll down about half way down page.

RE: Nissan Frontier V6

I towed a 19' 3200lb (empty) HTT for a couple of years with an 06 Frontier with 6300 lb towing capacity. It towed it easily and comfortably. I used a weight dist hitch and clip on tow mirrors. There were only 2 of us and a Golden Retriver in the truck. Not a family of 5 with lots of fire wood in the bed. The bed occasionally held 2 bicycles.
