RE: Camping at Mecca Copia Trail, Drop 31. Salton Sea

i have camped at drop 31 ,you may have a problem with the turn up the canal, and when you exit the canal to the drop /camp site it is still 9 miles to the bradshaw Just getting back to this thread. So still 9 miles from boondocking area to Bradshaw trail? Might be just as easy to stay at the North Glamis RV park. Really wanted to find some boondocking. Has anyone boondocked around Aguanga for RZR/ATV riding?

RE: lake havasu rv parks?

After an evening I spent in Crazy Horse, I would advise to avoid it at all costs. Nothing but drunken underage partyers up screaming all night. Then there was the puke covered restrooms. Local State Park ranger said "Ya, we know all about that place and none of that goes on here". You will hear two sides to the Crazy Horse stories. The winter visitor's love it, quiet, beautiful. The summer visitor's are all boater's and are truly "crazy". Winter.... stay there. Summer... not unless you are in the 16-25 group. There is also "The Falls" RV park on 95 just on the east side of town, all cement. Havasu RV resort is out by the airport... but right across the hiway from the regional mall, so a movie theater and great shopping. The Islander is as stated above... mostly park models with a few "over priced" rv rental lots on the lake. The city is amazing for all the restaurants and fun things to do... but, it is now the HOT season... you'll be running your A/C's 100% of the time, so be prepared.... if you don't like the heat.... stay out of the oven... LOL unless it is Nov thru Feb

RE: Allegro 35QBA vs Georgetown 352QS

Ford... could not have stated more clearly. We have owned our Phaeton for 3 years and been to the factory each year for it's annual check up. I am sure that many coach owners do NOT want to go to a factory for service and with Tiffin, you don't need too. Tiffin will authorize your favorite service center to make needed warranty repairs. But.... we have found thru the mistakes of our friends, who have purchased other (SOB) coaches.... they are 95% less than satisfied with the service they receive from the dealer they purchased their coaches thru. Yes, we can travel to Red Bay but because there are so many custom shops in the area to make great upgrades to your coach.
