RE: COPYING C.D.' s

If you are running Windows, Windows Media player will do what you want to do. I copied (ripped) 16 CDs last week and put them on hard drive, flash drive, smart phone and tablet.

RE: Direct TV - Carryout - What Receiver ???

I have the HR24-100 and HR21-700 receivers that give me HD at home and work well with the Carryout on SD when in the motorhome.

RE: Great 32" TV Price - 1 Sale a Day 23 Apr 2013

Wal-Mart currently has 2 VIZIO 32" refurbished TVs available. One for $201 and one for $209. The $209 one even has WiFi.

RE: DTV Sat set-up Lesson Learned

I experienced this three years ago on a trip from IL to FL to TX to IL. First two nights in KY and AL no problem. When we got to FL could not get DirecTV signal using Zip code in receiver, This happened in three seperate locations in FL but all CGs had good cable so didn't try to resolve problem. Second night on the way to TX we were in MS and experienced the same problem so I called DirecTV. After checking several things I asked them to check the settings and they were different from what the receiver was giving me. Changed the dish settings and immediately got the signal. The tech said it was best to check the website for settings. Also didn't have WiFi where we were or a smart phone. The next big trip we got a Winegard Carryout - problem solved.

RE: I have seen it on pick up trucks but not on this!!

I use this type dropped receiver hitch with a roller ball for my HHR. Yes it requires a 10 inch drop to be level. http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Roadmaster/RM-051-10.html?feed=npn&gclid=CNyFn4vOx7YCFaxaMgodun4ALQ I like my HHR and it is a great vehicle to tow 4 down but in my opinion this is one of it's drawbacks. My Demco baseplate, and apparently other, connecting points are too low. You have to be aware of the drop when entering/exiting gas stations campgrounds etc. I have to connect the HHR in the street after exiting my driveway, which is not steep, or risk possible damage to the drive way and or motorhome even with the roller.

2001 Mountain High Coachworks Summit

A friend of mine is shopping on-line for MHs and found this unit and called me to see if I knew who made this model. I can't find anything as to who is the manufacturer. It is on a Spartan chassis and the model # is 3990. Thanks for any info any of you might be able to provide.

RE: Getting through my gates

You need to pull past the entry to your drive and then back up while turning to the extreme left giving yourself a straight shot into the drive. You will have to try it a few times to see how far to pull past the drive to give you the best entry position.

RE: A gas chassis question.....

My '84 Pace Arrow and my current '94 Southwind, both on P30 chassis, had/has 19.5 wheels/tires and according to the manuals and sticker inside came equipped that way.

RE: Looking a buy a netbook

Got an Acer Aspire One with 4G of ram back in December for $274. Have been happy so far. If you use CDs/DVDs you will have to buy an external drive. Using it on WiFi and speed seems to be OK for what I do. Mostly internet and small spreadsheets.

RE: Light switches

My older Southwind has a switch in the hallway to turn bedroom speakers on and off.

RE: DirecTV issue- have strong signal, but can't get channels

Which winegard Carryout? There is a manual and an automatic. The automatic has dual output and it makes a difference which on you hook up first. Need more informtion. With a manual dish (not carryout)I have received great signal and no picture. Wrong sat.

I'm sure if you can pass a pilots license test you can pass a Class B non-CDL test.

24" HDTV as monitor

I recently bought an ACER Aspire One Netbook. Was going to buy a 23" monitor to hook into at home and got to thinking, what would be the pros/cons of buying a 24" HDTV to connect the netbook to at home. The netbook does have HDMI output. Would then use HDTV as bedroom TV in the MH. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks, Haydo

RE: Abby has the itchies!

Had the same problem several years ago with our black lab. Scratched and chewed until she was bleeding. Vet recommended brewers yeast and garlic tablets. Problem went away and never had a problem after that.
