Muffler for Generator
Hi All:
I have a 2003 Lance 1161. I would like to replace the muffler on the factory generator. The existing muffler is just too loud. While we do not use the generator much, it is really annoying when we do.
Anyone one out there replace their factor muffler is a much more silent one? Any suggestions?

Netboy installed one, not a grab bar but a strap which I think would work. Finding rafter or roof structure for support would be required...

Many thanks for the link! Just got off the phone with Lance. Seems they used to provide a strap as an option. Doug (at Lance) said all I need to do is located a frame member (should not be too difficult). Installing a strap similar to the one pictured will definitely increase our camping years! Thanks again!

Do you roll over and then get out of bed or try to sit up straight from a lying position? If the latter try the former. The grab bar will not be needed.
With a hip replacement and four surgeries on my stomach (read no stomach muscles!) your options are not a viable alternative!
Installing a Grab Bar
Hi All:
As I get younger (?) it is getting harder for me to get out of bed in our 2003 Lance 1181. Has anyone ever installed a grab bar over the bed (on the ceiling) so I can use it to help lift myself up and out of bed? The wife says she seems to recall someone on the forum describing how they did it. I have search but to no avail!
