RE: E450 toad lights

Fords have separate fuses for the toad/trailer receptacle. You need to locate both chassis fuse blocks. It was a fuse under the hood, had lights when left Fl. shorted out some time while towing. replaced wiring from MH to toad. Thanks.

RE: Have you ever eaten chipmunk?

I probably have, when young tried about every thing we caught. I cooked a young crow it was good, taste like squirrel. Ground hog is good when fixed properly.

RE: Ready Brake on 2013 Ford Focus

Just curious about your FF. Do you have the manual or automatic transmission? If auto, is it easy to unhook the negative cable? And why to you think you need the auto brake? The FF is pretty light!Have not towed the Focus, will install a disconnect on neg post. It is an automatic transmission. Installing brake because I now tow a Tracker and couple times had to make a quick stop. The E450 has excellent brakes but I feel better knowing I can stop quicker in an emergency.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus

How much, if any, of the plastic grill/facia did you have to cut/remove to allow the baseplate to be installed? The only part cut was for the round connector the pins go in. Hung grill on with screws and cut on each side of connector with tin snips.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus

Nice job on your part. The safety chain (I assume) brackets look like real shin busters though.:) Isn't there anyway to bring them out below the front fascia? They only stick out 1.5 in. They look longer because of the way the photo was taken.

RE: 2013 Ford Focus

After about six hours of a three hour job, two trips to Fastenal about a dozen drill bits. I have the two 1 1/4 in holes drilled in the bumper. That is some hard metal, the USA drill bits will cut if using slow speed and oil. The hole saw from Fastenal was good for both holes, drill bits good for one.

RE: cost of tolls and EZ Pass from ME to FL

The EZ pass for WV has to be in the lowest part of front windshield of the Class C, you can get one that goes on front bumper. I get a large discount if I go through a booth with a person in it. The motor home with toad gets charged as a car.

RE: Ford Focus Dinghy Owners ?

Take your golf bags to the Ford dealer, have to put op with pesky salesman. I'm sure they wont care.I was to the dealer and when I saw how small the trunk was and commented the salesman said that he was told they would not fit by someone else. At the time neither of us thought about the seat folding down. I did not feel like digging out the clubs to go down there.:) I was hoping there was a golfer on here with experience. Not the sharpest salesman.I checked trunk length with seat down 57 in.And the floor is flat except with one piece seat.
