Had the same problem on my frig and finally determined the gas control button had been depressed. Didn't realize at first that it was auto changeover. Really not sure what the manual gas button is for but it will not work on electric if it is activated. This same thing happened to me. Checked everything before realizing button had been depressed.
RE: Electric tongue jack suggestions
I wouldn't recommend one by LCI. The one that came with my tt went the first summer. Dealer replaced on warranty, but new one sounds like its ready to fail. I'm very careful not to raise too low or high, I just don't think it can handle hooking up WDH too well. Cheap product used by tt mfg.
