RE: Upgrading the exterior speakers.

Heads up to to those that may come to comment from outside the Toy Hauler group, please realize many of the Toy Hauler owners do not camp in campgrounds, they are out in the middle of the desert camping with miles between other campers. So before you make issues about loud music etc. know that unless you go with them camping, you'll probably never hear them. Steve Last year at pismo we had a visit from the rangers about our music volume, it was after midnight, no amplified sound after that time....It was just country music. That camp had all three groups....Hooligans, Ratz and Glamis Dune Ballers Goodtimes!!!! Dude you on crack aint no country on my stuff.... I had some pretty good JVC's on my old WW just under 2-1/2 inch depth and sounded good. What I have now are infinity's up top that peek thruough the back into the cabinet and closit so I built boxes on the interior. My bottoms are inside a door I take you dont have that option? their not marine reguler mb quart because they sound better than marine stuff. Lots of amp :B

RE: Feedback from current Dutchman Voltage RV owners

Dutchman is very uncooperative with any problem do your homework before buying I would not recommend. We've have a Dutchman Voltage for 11 months and it has been in for repairs for 8 months and 2 different repair shops and Dutchman could care less. Our gas tank keeps pouring out orange gas whether its brand new gas or old, if its been in the tank for 24 hours it comes out orange for the first quart or so. We are very concerned something may be breaking down in the gas system and we’ll be sitting nest to a camp fire when it decides to give loose. Dutchman has no idea what the problem is and could care less. We even were willing to just have them extend the warranty so that if something happens or the orange gas damages the generator, or anything else for that matter, that we will be covered since they have no idea what the problems is. Nope they just plain do not care! Disgusting! Orange gas is very common everyone I know has it. Its the gas in line in the fuel hose, the rubber colors the fuel. Everyone has it and noone has any problems.

RE: School me on used TH pricing

I think prices on smaller trailers are creeping up even at 15K a lot of people can get in on the fun. Bigger trailers and bigger prices are a hard sell.

RE: Bakersfield CA

If you believe in Heaven and Hell, then Bakersfield is Purgatory. Los Angeles County dumps their treated human waste in Bakersfield, We breathe some of the country’s most polluted air, based on several measures. The area ranks highest in annual and 24-hour peak averages in fine particulates, and fungus that causes Valley Fever. The summers are very hot over 115 degrees with week long heat waves. The winters are plagued with tule fog that last for weeks. Part 1 crimes include homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assaults, burglary, larceny, auto theft rose 18% in 2012, 556 reported crimes per 10,000 people Bakersfield Fire Department does not have Paramedics, because the Mayor owns the town's only Ambulance Service. Over crowding in the county jails forces early release of criminals into community. Methamphetamine, Crack, and Marijuana abuse is rampant, as well prostitution Unemployment is extremely high. Homeless population is significant. Major traffic congestion due to poor plan and failure to invest in infrastructure. CSUB does not offer engineering or AG degrees High property taxes with numerous bonds added CPS is corrupt and just cost the taxpayer payers 1.2 million Local Toy Hauler Dealer is less than honest, Good ATV riding is at least 2 two hours away There are better places to live. I was waiting for a "native" to fess up as I did not want to be the one pointing fingers since I live in San Fernando Valley. But you could not pay me enough to live there. To bad the 30% increase in population from down south didnt feel the same way :(

RE: Bakersfield CA

Been here since the early 70's has it good and bad like everywhere. Pismo Dunes ON THE BEACH sbout 2-3 hours west. Dumont about 5 hours east. Glamis 6 hour or better south east. We have hundreds of thousands of acres of state and BLM desert within 3 hour drive. The Sequoia National Forest Yosemite all within 3 hours. Ask any question you want.

RE: Insurance

I lost a trailer a few years ago to a fire. the quad inside was covered by its own policy, the personal stuff would have been covered by our home owners if we would have persued that part. the trailer was covered by it policy.

RE: Insurance

Your tv ins. is responsible for damage that occurs while in tow thats all. The trailer ins. is a whole differant thing.

RE: Best Wax for Brand new TH

I have always used Nu-Finish with good results and a long lasting shine. It is a polish containing silicone rather than wax, so a disadvantage is that it would be a bear to remove if you ever had to re-paint. Some guys here in the office that play around with fancy Harley's swear by Protect All for use on paint, chrome, and their fiberglass trailers. I think I will try it next time ..... I gotta say this stuff is the answer. My work truck is red faded to he** I have polised the paint neer off it and used every wax I have ever used none of it holds up past the first truck wash and their strong soap. I have 5 test spots with new finish after 5 truck washes I can see myself in those spots. As soon as I get the pinstripes redone and signs the whole thing will be polised and coated with Nu finish. Very easy to apply to.
