Power Gear Leveling Jacks Error

Hi All, I am the proud new owner of a 2009 Bounder 35H with Power Gear Auto Leveling Jacks. My problem is the controller shows a "jack down" error and will not work in auto mode (all jacks are up). I can operate in manual mode per instructions from my Camping World dealer (where I purchased the unit). CW is working with the vendor on a solution, but not as quickly as I would like. In researching on the net I have checked fluid levels (good) and tried the press all four jacks buttons, and also the recalibrate level procedure, all no dice. Has anyone had this error and if so what resolved it?
Thanks!!!

RE: Grey/Black tank and how to use.

When you arrive at your CG site, complete your sewer hose connections, keeping your black tank valve closed, and open your gray tank valve and leave open until the night before you leave. At that point close your gray tank valve in order to accumulate a good amount of gray water, then just prior to when you unhook do the following: Open your black tank valve and drain, then close. Open your gray tank valve to drain and rinse sewer hose, then close. Remove sewer hose and pack away.

RE: How does the inverter interface with rest of elec system?

This web link has a good wiring diagram on how to interface an inverter into an RV electrical system:

RE: How long to set up

I rush setup (or teardown), and I forget things, then things break. Life is too short, and I agree with the beer drinkers, 3 cold ones during setup.

RE: RV for family of 8/Fleetwood?

If you go the Class-C route, check first on your available CCC. EIght people and their stuff would take you over most Class-C total weight and you would risk tire (or other) damage.

RE: Ive been invaded

I tried something different this year and it has worked well. Two things that the little varmits are after are food and warmth. I of course have always removed all food, but this year I left all of my vents open, making the inside of the RV nearly as cold as the outside. I have only found two small turds all winter season, and will do it this way on-going. I also use dryer sheets to give the RV a fresh smell, not sure if that contributes or not, but keeps the summer home fresh smelling.

RE: Fridge on DC...How efficient?

As I have read on this forum, the DC mode simply maintains an already pre-cooled fridge. It is no good for starting from "off." Factor in the outside temp also. I am sure it would do fine on 80 degree and below outside temp, but it may struggle in warmer temps. The fridge uses very little propane, why would you not use the LP setting?

RE: Storage Locker in Washington DC

We toured with our one of Congressman's office assistants, and were able to leave our personal items in his office (2 blocks walk from Capital). However, that took many months of pre-requesting.

RE: MN to Route 66/Phoneix/Grandcanyon and back to MN again...

Williams is a wonderful Route 66 town with lots of nice shops and restaurants in older restored buildings. Would recommend the KOA there, nice CG. The canyon is only an hour drive.

RE: Retiring in Mexico?

I saw a story on the news last night about guys that are building assisted living apartment facilities (non-RV) to attract the aging US population to retire in Mexico due to the low cost of living. I am assuming that these facilities are placed in some of the safer areas in that country, so safe areas must exist.

RE: Grand Canyon - best place to stay

We stayed at the William's KOA and love it. Lots to do for kids. We enjoyed visiting Williams one evening and eating out. It is a Route 66 town with lots of shops and restaurants. The drive to the South Rim is only an hour.

RE: which is better?

I have viewed a person hooking up a dolly, then the car. It took 30mins or more. I can have my 4 down towed Jeep ready to roll in about 5mins. It's a no-brainer.

RE: Digital Delay

Yes but since WHEN did they become public service type business? They Should NOT be allowed to use it since that isn't why they told us we HAD to go to digital.
ACTUALLY, it has advertised since this was first announced that movement to UHF digital would free space for new and emerging technologies.

RE: Digital Delay

The switch was SUPPOSE to be for our law enforcement and fire departments etc but the ones opposed to giving more time are AT&T and VERIZON...Anyone got any idea why that is or what's going on? It sure sounds like we r being lied to about WHY the change was necessary. But maybe they don't need ALL the available space and are just leasing part of it out til it's needed-but if that is the case You can imagine how the renters of this space will feel someday if they are booted off.
The carriers are opposing the delay as they are being allowed to reuse the analog spectrum for additional/upgraded wirless broadband services.

RE: 1991 Palomino Hard-Side

Don't worry about seals between the hinges. My unit was very tight in it's construction and the hinged sections never let in any cold air in cooler months. And yes, it was an eyecatching unit, I had alot of 'drive-bys' from fellow RVers asking about it.

RE: 1991 Palomino Hard-Side

I owned an '89 TXL and loved it. It was really cool to have real windows and walls in a pop up, yet have the canvess ends. Mine was top of the line with a shower, porta potty space, everything but air (which was an option). I owned mine for around 7 years with little problems. The only poor design that I remember was that the heater output (inside) blew hot air on the door of the fridge across the aisle. Also the fridge had the side vent on the outside, and the countertop over the fridge tended to get a little warm, but we learned to not put bread or other foods that would be affected by warm temps on that part of the counter. I did also have an issue one time with 40 mph wind gusts that ultimately broke a latch on the door. It did not do well in high winds. Good luck!!
