RE: UNDERCOVER BOSS (KOA CEO)

The only rant that we had was with one near Hershey, PA, tornado warning and high winds hit the area - tree branches everywhere, but no damage to our rig. .
shame on KOA for not preventing the high winds.
bumpy
Wow, thanks. I was going to cross this KOA off my list because of the high winds. From now on I will look for a CG close to the KOA.

RE: Best way to keep Mice out of the coach?

Tried the Fresh Cab also. I can confirm that it too doesn't work.
The best mice deterrent is a puddy tat.
X2....we have 4 cats...Living in a rural area, I've tried every trap known to man. My grand kids even made the spinning peanut butter can over the anti-freeze bucket, currently we run two (H-Depot) electronic pest plug ins, and the 4 cats.
Don't use D-con, they might die inside the coach.
After we got the 4th cat, I thought I saw some mice leaving our property with suitcases packed..:B

RE: Best way to keep Mice out of the coach?

I think, the best way is to get them in a pail with antifreeze.
I have a Cougar Fifth wheel. Within a week I caught 12 mice.
Take a 5 gal pail drill 2 holes 1 1/2" from the top 3/32 dia. Use a coat hanger.Make sure it's perfect straight.Push through the first hole then through a empty pop can with a 3/32" hole on either end then through the other side of the pail. Make sure the pop can is spinning freely.Poor a 1/2 gal antifreeze into the pail Put some penut butter only at the centre of the can. The a wooden stick as a later. Lean it against the pail so the mice can easy walk up to the can. The mouse is trying to reach the peanut butter and that's the end. Worked for me.For any pictures leave me a note.
Tried this also. Problem is the squirrels eat all the peanut butter.

RE: New Tiffin Options

I have the heat pump and it works great. Also would not be without the drivers door. I use it all the time. Remember it is also an emergency exit in case of rollover or other emergency. Mine is absolutely quiet, no wind noise at all.

RE: Sylvania silverstar ultra bulbs - worth the money?

I've had them in my coach for over 5 years. No burnouts and they work great. Also not to bright to blind oncoming traffic as someone on here said.

RE: RV'ers with No Goodyear G670 Problems

I blew a front tire doing 65 towing my toad. Blew out on the inside. One week later blew out drivers side inside rear also on sidewall. 18,000 miles on coach and tires were 5 years old with no cracks anywhere. Had tires inspected by a Goodyear rep and he could find nothing wrong .Replaced them with 6 new G670's. Hoping for the best.

RE: Add ons for better MPG Class A Gas

Every time I read a post where someone is looking to get better gas mileage it amazes me. Driving a Motorhome is the wrong hobby if you are looking for great mileage. I don't care how much money you spend you are still going to get awful mileage. Before laying out all the money for that big coach think twice and maybe think about going the car motel route. Just think, if you took all the money you spent on the coach, all the toys you need or want, insurance and the gas bill you could get on a plane with the family and go anywhere you want as many times as you want. Stay in the best motels, rent a car, eat the best meals and still have money left over for the kids.
Or you can get the coach, sleep in your own bed with no bedbugs, do you know what in your own bathroom, and have the greatest time of your life. The choice is yours !! Stop worrying about mileage and go have a ball.
