Suppose I purchase a $100,00 rv in a state with 3% sales tax, I will pay $3000. I bring the rv to my home and register it here for license plates, MN is going to sock me an additional $4,650 in SALES TAXES. There is the REAL SCAM.

Reading the posts here, I've heard many mention these people are evading taxes. If that were truly the case, then go after them on tax evasion. But it really isn't about that at all. Here in MN, we have a severe case of light rail envy. Billions are spent to put the infrastructure in place, but it's not self sustaining. Where does the money come from to pay the deficits the trains produce? Gas taxes and road use fees, money originaly to be used for roads and road repair. Now the morons running the state want to raise the gas tax to cover the shortfall. Don't get me started on bike paths.

I placed an online order recently and it went like this. Placed order, recieved e-mail confirmation. A few days later, recieved e-mails detailing which items were comming from which warehouse AND UPS tracking numbers. Checked tracking numbers to see when I can expect delivery. Delivery dates came, items arrived as promised, and I might add, took less than 5 business days. Good job Camping World.

Amazing, people who shop CW online, know what the shipping charges are before they finalize the order, yet act surprised and even show anger over the cost of shipping. It's really quite simple, if you don't agree to the shipping charges, don't buy the item.

Geez, my initial thought was "wow, everyone is all exited about ....Camping World actually doing what they were supposed to do....well, almost". My second thought after reading all the chatter on here about poor or substandard performance by Camping World stores was.."I guess actually doing it right is a big deal"
As I said almost....really it is poor followup by that Camping World staff from the Salesman to the parts folks....
So...nothing really to get excited about IMO
Guess there's always a negative nellie in every crowd.

Here's a news flash......they are both owned by the same company.:W
A couple of years ago I ordered something from CW. They claim the shipping charge is based on specific CW shipping stations. If you happen to be 2,000 miles away from that particular shipping point you pay triple what the real shipping costs should be.
Any idea what the REAL shipping costs were?

I've never paid a dime in shipping costs from CW since they began offering free shipping on $99+ orders. Reading some of the comments here, lead me to believe some of you are not happy unless you have something to complain about.
