RE: Are there any RV parks on the Las Vegas strip ?

Oh, my gosh! Someone approaches life differently than you. They must be wrong.

RE: Are there any RV parks on the Las Vegas strip ?

Just about everything is "a parking lot with hookups" in Vegas. :) Okay, some are much nicer than others but don't expect to park under the canopy of mature shade trees no matter how much you pay. I'm in the long term park at Sam's Town right now at around $20/day with 50 amps unmetered. 30 amps is cheaper. It's right next to the Las Vegas RV Resort. It ain't fancy but it's quiet. People here are staying for 30 days or longer so it's more of a trailer park than RV park. They also have a short-term place on the other side of the resort that is more like a typical RV park with a similar daily rate. The only gripe I have is the crappy internet service. It's provided by hotelwifi.com at a minimum of $1/day and the performance is atrocious. I wouldn't pay a penny a day for it. Fortunately, I get 16/6 meg service through my Verizon LTE connection and Clear/Sprint has a WiMax tower about a block away. I don't worry about being right in the middle of everything while in Vegas. For a long stay, it's nice to get a break from the ruckus. It's hard to be more than a 15 minute drive from the strip no matter where you stay and every resort has free parking. Most places have shuttles to/from the strip and Las Vegas has a pretty good bus system. If you have a smartphone, you can use Google Maps to navigate the local public transit system routes. (I just checked.)
