RE: invisible fence at campsite?

My son in law has two labs and invisible fence at home. Whwn he takes the dogs camping he brings the collars and sets out the flags. The dogs think that because the flags are out, the electric is on.

RE: Sliding mirror closet doors.

I had the same problem breaking the plastic latches, so I just went to the hardware store, purchased two each 1/2 in dowels, cut them to length, closed the doors and put the dowels in the track. I have not had a problem in the last 25000 miles.

EZ lube bearings

I have too start thinking about getting ready for this season. When you grease the EZ lube bearings in the fifth wheel, how do you know if you have enough grease or when you have overgreased? last year I just pumped about 4 pumps into each wheel.Have put on about 6000 miles since with no problems.

Jayco dealer north side of Phoenix Ar.

I Will be in the Phoenix area Feb and Mar. Coming from Minnesota and I have to replace a shower door under warrenty. This one shattered because of the cold weather in northern Minn, I think. Of coarse they are all special order, so you have to wait for one. We will be staying north of Phoenix in El Mirage and I don't want to drag it too far if I don't have to.

adding electric outlet

I currently only have the large light in the ceiling with no outlets in the bathroom of my 5th wheel.I am considering adding another elec outlet on the bath wall, opposite the sink in the adjoining bed room.that would make it a GFI outlet which is fine because all I want it for is a night lite. Is there and problem taping into the sink outlet and installing another in the bath?

CB radio

Because of all the "stuff" already in the truck, I'm considering a hand held cobra radio with remote (out of the way) mounting and a Wilson roof mount antenna. Anyone have that kind of setup? any pros or cons?

RE: Truck fueling stations

no problem going thru the big rig pumps. The larger size hose will fill the tank in about 3 min or less. Usually have to go inside, leave a credit card, fill up , get credit card back..

cb radios

My family is thinking about getting me a CB for Christmas, any brands better than others? I haven't had one in 35 years, but they can help kill time when in traffic etc. I tow a fiver, so would a roof top antenna work on the truck?

electric heater

Being that the northern states are getting cooler in the evenings, I am thinking about buying a electric heater to keep the chill out of the fifth wheel . Upon looking at them I find ceramic and the usual household space heater.. pros and cons of each? Need one in 2 weeks for northern Minnesota.
