RE: Gold Wing in a TH

Harbor Freight Chocks worked great for me.and they cost a lot less then many of the others and they are heavy duty.

RE: The Last Dog

Sorry to hear your wife is in bad health. You sound like a really caring person to me.My wife and I are kinda in the same boat with our two boys. They are over 100lbs each but are great companions to us.All of our plans kinda revolve around the four of us as much as possible,as it should be.But they are 11 and 12 and we know they are getting close to that moment we all dread. We really are thinking that we dont want anymore dogs after these two are gone, but I have a feeling that will change just lik eit did for you.Good luck and enjoy your travels.

RE: Hot bathroom, fridge in the center of toy hauler, any ideas

There must be a vent that goes to the outside, perhaps some type of fan to move the hot air out?

RE: Height adjustment of the fifth wheel

If you get off the beaten path more often then a campground you may want a little higher.I do a lot of boon-docking so I prefer a little higher 7 3/4.

RE: Leaving firewood

As long as someone who picks it up can use it I'm ok with that. Doesn't have to be exclusive to the next one in that particular spot?

RE: Why different voltage readings on L1 and L2?

ok somebody is confused, either you or me 30 amp service is 120 volts , readings should always be hot to neutral you appear to reading hot to grd and neutal to grd and no way should you be reading 120 or 130+ between neutral grd and if you are reading 130+ volts between hot and neutral while reading 120v between hot an grd what do you read from grd to neutral me i would put the autoformer between the post and the ems that way the xfrmr can do its job and regulate voltage and the surge guard won't be shutting off Your correct.I was thrown off by Leg 1 and 2?But if that was the case he would of fried something after the panel in the RV?Or with the surge Protection it would not work at all?

RE: Why different voltage readings on L1 and L2?

I agree with the above post.Your protected well with what you have. They(electrician) probably saved a bunch of money by not balancing the loads properly or they just did a bad job..but it will hurt/cost them down the road.

RE: Replacing Chassis Battery at Walmart

RE: All about tires again

Did you try Tire Rack?I just bought some tires for my Dually and they sent them to an installer close to me.really worked out well.the date code on my tires were like 2 or 3 weeks old. They were cheaper then going to tire shop and having them do the entire job.
