RE: 1982 Pace Arrow

Yes I have pictures but I can't figure out how to make them smaller because when I try to upload them it comes back with the Pictures are to large??? Open a free account at a parking site like Photobucket.com. You can reduce the size there. Or, you can reduce the size locally (on your computer at home) with many free photo editing programs available before trying to upload them here. Even MS's old 'Paint' program will let you shrink them...click on 'Image' then 'Attributes' and enter 800 X 600. Click on 'Pixels'. Save with new name. Yep photo bucket works. Then use the IMG tags.

RE: What does your RV forum name mean?

:S Well jiveturkey came from a joke at work about ten years ago. My friend is black, mexican , etc lol. So anyway he calls me jiveturkey and I call him cracker. So I then needed a name for yahoo I had to start adding numbers until I got it. Its such a dumb name, I think about changing it all the time but I use it on so many forums that I haven't done it yet. Maybe someday I'll change it to something more fitting......:B

RE: 1985 Chevy Dually opinions

I grew up around the late 70's and 80's crewcab and dually Chevy's. I think they are great. Mileage will suck. But everything is cheap to fix. Not a lot to go wrong. I would buy it! My dad still has his 78 dually crew cab stake body truck. Lol. Drives it everyday for his buisiness. I will tell you his 93 454 sucks gas. We usually say 5 min or 5 miles is what you get on 5 dollars worth of gas in that truck. Lol

RE: 96 +- IDI Ford 7.3L; good enough?

I had a 94.5 7.3 power stroke. On my trip to Maine from PA last year towing my 30ft TT I only downshifted out of 5th gear twice on the interstate. Once on the way and once on the way back. Was the engine changed to an IDI engine?

RE: Confused

Have you put different tires on your truck? Different tires can act different.

RE: Sway How to Prevent?

- A good example, featuring no weight distribution or sway system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwOqARlw1EI That was a heavy trailer. The chains definitely held. Somebody had to change there pants.

RE: buying a Ford 6.0???

If you do nothing else I suggest, join Fordtruckenthusiats.com forum and read the sticky Tech Folder then thread Information on the 6.0L for new owners(actualy not all the thread, just skim it and ask Mark for his files). I will do this. Is this ths same as www.ford-trucks.com? Yes it is. Get a scanguage 2 and then relax. Coolant filter is probably a must have to. I just got mine in Dec so I haven't had a chance to do much more than scanguage. Coolant filter is next.

RE: buying a Ford 6.0???

I didn't read past the first page so I'll just provide you with a link lol. All the info you need. I like all three brands. If I would of found a dodge or a 7.3 standard I would have jumped but I was in a hurry and have my 05 6.0. I love it. But I'm aware of what could happen and have the guages to watch for it. And no tuners. From reading all the info on the ford truck enthusiest forum I'm confident it'll run along time. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum107/

RE: New Camper Eve, now at home...

Trailer is home, backed into driveway real nice, no boards needed, I am such a happy camper... So when do we get pictures :) lol You are going to love it! What are you towing with, I pull mine with a 3/4 ton Avalanche and it goes right on down the highway. Mine is a 2010, but still love it. I never knew they made a 3/4 ton avalanche till I saw one the other day. Pretty neat.
