Another electrical question. I got an adapter that has a 3 pole twist lock on one end and a 4 pole plug on the other. On the twist lock end, two connectors are hot, the third goes to ground. What happens to the neutral?
I recently lost my 50 power cable with a twist lock connector at the rv end. I have a spare 50 amp, but it has the common 4 prong connector. I have been looking for a twist to plug converter but they must not make them. Why are 50 amp cords with the twist lock more than twice as much as a 50 amp plug in? Would it make sense for me to change the plug on the side of my rv to a plug from the current twist lock?
