I own a 2010 31.5FBHS and had the same problem. Steadyfast work very well but depend on how roudy the kids get. The tripod does no good if you have he reese pinbox that piviots like the sidewinder.

RE: which is better time for Fort Wilderness
I stayed in Fort Wilderness 2 weeks after spring break and it wasn't to bad. We had to wait a few times for 40 minutes. Brought our 3yr grandson and he had a blast . I've been during spring break and it was standing room only.
