RE: Heater Problem

Dick, I am not running the generator and the 15 amp fuse is recommended. Old-Biscuit, every time I change the fuse and turn the t-stat on, I hear the furnace click then it blows the fuse. This has happened several times. Thanks to both for the input.

Heater Problem

I have an Atwood 8500-IV furnace in my 1999 Class C. Every time I turn on the heater, it blows a fuse. I recently had a new Onan 4G generator installed. I did not have this problem until after the new generator. Any ideas on what is causing this would be greatly appreciated.
