RE: Lazydays Florida expands

Nice article, Thanks. Believe camping world is leaving the LazyDays compound for good this month or next and moving one exit down (12). LazyDays had to open a retail store to keep folks from migrating that way and it does make good business sense. Haven't been to their new store yet, but will give it shot in the future. I've always enjoyed going to LazyDays just to look at coaches, get some repairs when needed, and their campground is one of the best locally. We use it quite a bit.

RE: Sales and prices rebound

Although we are not in this situation ourselves, I would hope everyone who is selling is able too no matter what state they are in. I don't wish any bad on anyone at anytime. We should all live together hoping for the best for each other, not the worst. Happy Easter Season everyone, be safe out there.

RE: Fleetwood Fiesta A/C intake Grates

In our Fiesta I put in the plastic screw inserts and works great so far (3 years), no issues at all. Don't blame Fleetwood for the design, the A/C was made by someone else. Fleetwood just used the A/C unit that company produced to put into their product. :) Happy Camping everyone!

RE: Using a tire plug as an emergency fix

I've done this to get home, driving defensively the whole way. Got a new tire once I was home. No problem with it as long as it's done correctly and you take precautions I would think.

RE: Campground Thieves

Locks keep honest people honest. We can only try to do what we can, if they want it they'll take it unfortunately. Not the same world I grew up in, that's for sure.

RE: Fleetwood

Yeah, Fleetwood has always been good with getting back to us with requests for information. I think most manufactuerers try hard to assist.

RE: Is Monaco vulnerable..??

Building around a known engine maker should help sales of trucks and busses. In the world of MH's I expect like many other industries makers will keep fading away until there are only three major builders left. The service industry jobs of today just do not support a strong RV industry. Upside down MH owners are finding it harder and harder to get loans large enough to pay off the upside down differences and the price of the new MH. When the MH industry shakes down to only three major builders then the reduced competition should help during future downturns like goi ng on currently. Only a matter of time before this all starts to shake downhill again. Hope for the best, but it's not looking good.

RE: Cooking with Propane ..........

I put a pizza stone (Large or small), and that helps to just keep it warm.

RE: The Price of Propane

As with every Fall of the year, propane prices increase. this year however; I hear from friends in the industry that they are really going to shoot up after 1 Oct. Time will tell, but predictions are also calling for a cold winter up north which would again raise prices. A few pipelines are shutting down in the NE so supply and demand is going to be trouble for some.

RE: Deteriorating Ultraleather Seats

We have the same issue (pics above), on our 2008. Going to get some of those replacement seat covers and see how they last. If they don't we'll get them recovered by someone.

RE: Jacks work !!!

We have electric jacks and I spray the jacks with silicone prior to every take-up and have had no issues in over 3 years (knock on wood). We were told, most stick or get stuck because of no lubrication, they bind or something like that. Anyway, it's been working out great since we started doing this.

RE: leveling blocks.. can u use them under jacks

Use pieces of wood I believe were 6x6 with holes drilled for rope to pull out after we bring the jacks up. Have never used the plastic units.
