Fall Creek Falls State Park, Tennessee

I will be coming from the west through Nashville I-40, what is the best route to Fall Creek Falls State park? I am hoping to avoid as many steep grades as possible, if it that is possible. Thank You

RE: I Have a new tow vehicle.(New picture added)

Very Nice Truck and the perfect color!!!! Is the Hoyte Dodge? Where did you camp on Lake Texhoma? Thanks Yes Hoyte Dodge. We camp at West Burns Run. I took the trailer up this morning. It should be real interesting tomorrow when the cold front hits. Wind chill of 36, gust of 40 mph. I hope the heater is working well.....

RE: mattress solution

Maybe it's because I have an older model (2001 KZ Coyote) but the bunks require a folding mattress to store. since most RV'ers have never seen a hybrid, unless you explain how hybrid mattresses work, many will post solutions that don't work for a hybrid. like "just buy a queen mattress at the store!" as far as i know, all hybrid mattresses have to be folded to close the bunk door and store it. I wonder what they think "HTT" stands for?

RE: AT&T service at Lake Ouachita SP, AR

We arrived today at Lake Ouachita SP and am happy to report we have serviceable AT&T service in loop A. It varies a bit as you move about, but I'm tethered now and getting decent service. Glad to hear about AT&T. How is the park itself? Thanks

RE: AT&T service at Lake Ouachita SP, AR

Heading up to this SP for spring break next week and will need some access to cellular data (work sure gets in the way of my fun) during our trip. Anyone know how AT&T service is at this state park? (Loop A/FHU area IIRC) Any comments about data as well? (LTE, 3G, EDGE) thanks- Steve We are going up there is May. Please come back here and tell us how it was. Also what space you camped at.. Thank you

RE: Hot Springs National Park

Highly recommend Lake Ouachita State Park - full hookups great views on top of a mountain on a huge corps of engineers lake and dam. We spent a week there this past April X2 X3 Wonderful place. If you go,check out the homeplate restaurant nearby. x4 Great state park

RE: Brushy Creek COE Park, Tx

anyone visited the Brushy Creek COE park near Jefferson, Tx?? Am trying to find some better directions than what's posted on the Reserve.gov site cause they seem to be wrong when looking at the park on google maps. Please come back and post what you think about it. Pictures of the campsites would be great also. Thanks

RE: Background Check

We are currantly staying at a city park that that is being leased from the Corp of Engineers. For any thing longer than 30 days they are requiring a " Back Ground " check. This is the first time we have encountered this. Any one else encountered this? Which park is it?

RE: putting up pop up

on arockwood 2516g do i pull out beds first or slide? Last out-first in as the slide provides support for the bunkends. Make sure the slide out canvas is out for both opening and closing so as not to get snagged by the bunkends.

RE: San Angelo State Park

OC Fisher lake does have some water in it now after the last rain. The park is pretty barren. Is your hometown anywhere near Abilene instead? Abilene State park is much better.

RE: Great news coming soon from Tn State Parks

I always prefer site specific reservations and the states that do like Florida keep the more popular parks full year round because of it. X2 I would never reserve a campsite in a GA state park for just the weekend unless I could get there early Friday morning. I might have a guaranteed site if I arrived later in the day but it would be the leftovers and worst site available. Walk-ins don't work because locals go out on Wed or Thur and but a tent on a site to hold it for the weekend and their normal RV. Specific site reservations are about the only ones I will make - FL makes it easy. You can reserve specific sites in Louisiana State Parks with reserve america never had an issue and love having a site we wanted waiting on us.
