RE: Inverter question while on shore power

There is one for the main entertainment center, one for the bedroom TV, and strangely one in the water closet. I have not found any others yet.

Inverter question while on shore power

My new to me fiver has a 1000w inverter. Behind the TV is an outlet that runs off shore power and one that runs off the inverter. The inverter outlet only works when the inverter is on. When I am plugged in to shore power, should the TV/DVD/etc be plugged into the shore power outlet or is it okay to plug it into the inverter outlet and leave the inverter on? I can reach the outlets easily so it isn't a big deal to move the plugs from one outlet to the other.

RE: Long baggage door catch?

No, I talking about the catches for holding open outside storage compartments, although I think what you are talking about is the only thing that will work. What an odd design!

Long baggage door catch?

On my fifth wheel, they put the outside shower right above a baggage door. The door, which opens up, will not open far enough to reach the catch because it hits the shower compartment door. Do they make longer baggage catches? Or does someone have another way to keep that door open?

RE: Newbie mistake -help

Did you look to see if that resettable circuit breaker was there? It should be right near the battery.

RE: Newbie mistake -help

I did that too. On mine there was a resettable circuit breaker just up from the battery - I hadn't seen anything that looked like it before so I had no idea what it is. I had to replace it. It is only a $4 part. You can check for continuity with a meter. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Duralast-40-Amp-metal-circuit-breaker/_/N-2690?itemIdentifier=413276_0_0_

2006 Keystone Laredo in the snow

I just got a new to me 2006 Keystone Laredo 28RL. They say it has a polar insulation package and the underbelly is enclosed. I have never had an RV that had any insulation so I never went to the snow. But we would like to now. But first, does anyone know what the polar insulation package is and can I camp in cold weather?
