RE: Moab area RV parks

Doing my first MOAB trip in March myself. Archview campground was the only one we could find with full hookups where you can ride to the trials right from the campground. We did not want to unhook and haul the non street legal dirt bikes we have. We plan to move to the Sand Flats area after a couple of days but they have no hookups. Might want to at least take a peak at it.

RE: Odors from holding tanks inside coach.

If you have already checked this then ignore it but be sure your toilet is holding water in it. There should be a small amout there after flushing and that indicates the seal is working. No water and the gases will come right out of the toilet. A quick check is to let someone else drive and stick your nose down there. If there is no water try to hold the valve open and run an old brush or a hook of some type around the seal and see if it has paper or something in it. Took me a little bit of time to find that was what my issue was and it was a quick fix.

RE: Firestone Airbags which kit is better?

My RV came with the no drill system installed but a blowout ripped out one of the lines. I ordered a replacement line kit but was wondering do you have to remove the bag to installed the new line? The instructions say no but there is not enough clearance to do it I am thinking. Did you install yours and then hook up the lines? Thanks

RE: I put the Hellwigs on front and back today....

I just added the rear Hellwig unit from sdtrucksprings.com on Saturday morning. Took about 45 minutes on a 2007 Ford chassis 31 foot RV. The difference it made was amazing. Handles like a normal van now. Feeling much more stable in the wind and when semi's pass. No more white knuckles. I have heavy duty Monroe shocks to add yet as I could not get them compressed enough to install them. Goign to add the front sway bar next. Best money I have spent so far. All thanks to this thread too. Thanks guys
