I too use a hard wired back-up camera that is always on. Works great for lane changing, but what I hate is trying to get off at a cloverleaf exit, man that's a pain, the ones coming on the freeway never seem to give me enough room to exit.
is a regen on every trip excessive? Do you mean everytime you pull the RV for a long distance?
No average trip is about 80 miles. Twice last Thursday to and from the campground, we had to cancel that trip, but went Fri and it regen'd on the way to the campground, and then on Sunday back to the house and then again on Sunday from the house to our next campground.
Looking to trade my 2008 F350 dually 4.10 rear on a 2008 Chevy 3500 6.6 3.73 dually, My Ford gets about 8-9 towing and is going into regen every trip out now. You think I will see a increase in MPG with the new Chevy? It only has 12k on it. and has a B&W turnonver in the bed.
We have one for the Cougar, It went through the wash, never worked quite right since, so I really didn't miss it, and wasn't going to pay 100 bucks to replace it. But I found one on eBay, bought it and programmed it. Use it all the time now.
