RE: Oven Burns EVERYTHING What Can I do to Fix

well the temperature censer wire on my oven was knocked down from storing a frying pan in it. it was not hooked up to the clip that holds it above the bottom. so that when i was cooking my pizza the oven was not shutting off. ie it had no temperature control

RE: Building my own looks....

RE: New Product "Sumo Springs" from the maker of Super Springs

well i use the airbags to lift the back to get the fridge level to drive. i know that it's ok to be out of level when driving, but sitting in the driveway overnight i want it level. with those things their is no adjustment. i would rather have air bags.. hopefully I'll never have line/ pressure leaks. so far no problems, well see how they do this winter with the snow & ice in the northeast winter

RE: RV Insurance for an Older Camper

when i added my truck camper to my travel trailer policy. i asked about the contents ... like will they cover my computer, hand-held gps, and other stuff, well they will but the limit is only 750 dollar's so i had to pay extra to get the contents covered, i think i went up to $3000 so I'm saying they will cover it but the limit is very low with a basic policy. ps all my insurance is with different company's i did not want my trailer insurance covered by my auto company. example I'm at a campground and someone breaks into the trailer. well if i make a claim then my auto insurance will go up because of a claim on the trailer. hope it never happens.

RE: Hallmark hard side TCs - Halifax model?

well if it's in great shape move quick, seems that the nice ones are hard to find. but your in great shape, because with your truck you can haul any camper you want. when i was looking i was coming cross lot of used one that had water damage and such. of course the owners said that it was fixed.what I'm trying to say is that if it's prefect move fast, unless this is the first campers you looked at. i will say that i had tunnel vision when looked at my camper.( drove 8 hours one way to look at it )(bought it on the spot ) looking back now their was things i missed because i wanted a clam shell camper. but their was no way i could afford a $25000 new northern light so i was will to over look some things. I'm just trying to help by sharing my story.

RE: Truck Camper vs Truck + T.Trailer

i have both. works out very nice, truck camper is when i go alone. travel trailer is for when i have other people with me. also when going close to home i take the trailer = more room, less steps like the trailer because of the space, plus have space in the pickup bed for firewood, bike, generator, but i just got the truck camper, (august )like the easy mobility of traveling with it. so local camping trailer under 65 miles away or a trip over 65 miles it will be the truck camper just rambling away.

RE: Tiger Motor Homes?

this will have a lot of the questions that you have answered in this thread. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/22189891/gotomsg/22951378.cfm#22951378 Since there are at least three late-model Tiger CX owners now active on RV.net, I thought it might be a good idea to open a Tiger thread. MSN has killed their 'Groups', including the Tiger owners' group. Their suggested move to 'Multiply' has not worked out at all well.

RE: Has your TC ruined your truck?

mine does it too, and I'm thinking about getting a ford now, my truck has 19000 miles on it. not happy about it either, my 2003 x-cab was like brand new when traded 4 years 40,000 miles on not a squeak to be herd. only reason i traded was wanted 4x4 .

RE: Hallmark insulation

unless the price is great, why buy a known problem roof's are the most important part of keeping water out. he taking the ac off and putting in a vent, how good of a job is he going to do, maybe he's unloading it because their are other problems. don't get tunnel vision with this camper. goodluck on finding a camper.
