RE: Fort Worth on the way north

I travel a great deal to Fort worth as my daughter lives there. I usually stay at the Koa in Arlington Nice people run it. direct route to fort worth on I 30. 820 is what they call the mix master (same as dallas) Lots of traffic! it Goes around ft worth but if you stay on I 30 it will run right into downtown. Benbrook has some nice coe campgrounds as well but its west off I 20. Not sure the stock yards are all day event but its worth checking out. Railroad bque is great. Downtown fort worth is worth a look as well. As a side note, I recently starting taking i 35 north to 82 then pick up the north route to big cabin on I 44 Watch the speed! Also, I usually stop at the Koa in Joblin before I get home Nice place as well. Safe travels

RE: Dollywood and Nashville Campground recomendations

Two rivers gets my vote Stay there all the time Nice people own There is a bus factory next tour so you do hear noice at night if you are in the back right side of the campground I always try to stay near the middle by the laudry room
I like the KOA in pigeon forge as its central to where my daughter's grand parents live and the trolly to dollywood if I am by myself I stay in Townsend Much much calmer!

RE: Lakeside Park, St Peter, MO

Sundermeiers RV Park In St Charles as you know is right off I 70 the Lakeside park is more country A little further out depends on where you want to go. I always recommend Babler as St louis has no traffic and it takes 20 to 30 min to get anywhere. That said, I would choose Lakeside of Sundermier any time.

RE: Major downsize, anyone else?

I really enjoyed traveling with my daughter when she was younger in the Casita. We set up a screen roof right outside the door to give a sense of my space. I had to get rid of it and was suprised it sold it 3 days for a few grand less than I had paid for it 5 yrs ago. i am now looking for a slightly bigger trailer with a shower that is easy to use and has a litter more room
