RE: Rear TV problem.

Thanks for the tip. I turned the converter off and can get the channels now, but ONLY buy putting in the numbers, which I can do. I wonder why the up and down channel change does not work however.
Again, thanks and if you have an idea on why I can't use the up and down to change channels, let me know.

Rear TV problem.

In my 06 Phaeton, I have a HD TV in the front, but not in the rear, but it does have the converter. I am hooked up to cable and the front TV gets all of the channels (40+), but the rear only gets one or two channels. I have both cable buttons pushed on the black box. The rear TV has two remotes, one to turn the power on and the other (a black one) changes the channels. Any suggestions?

RE: Atwood leveler problem

Grumpypapa.
Your suggestion worked great for me!! Thanks a ton.
I was surprised however, to find that I could turn the 1/2 inch bolt that manually lowers or raises the jack with my hand. It was not tight at all. Is this normal.
My manual indicate that to manually raise or lower the jacks, you must turn the bolt 500 times to raise or lower the jack one inch!!!!! Ouch.
Again, thanks a million.

Atwood leveler problem

06 Phaeton with Atwood levelers which have worked great until today. Returning home to my un-level cement slab, I hit the Auto button and all levelers seem to extend, but quit before leveling the Coach. I cannot get the levelers up or down and a green and red light (side by side) blinks and there is beeping sound. Help!
I called Sue Noyes (the Real Deal at Atwood) and she is out of the office until Friday.
We are headed to Myrtle Beach Sunday so I really need some help.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Nice campgrounds PA to ME

Thanks for all the suggestions. My idea of a "nice" campground
is one I can get in and out of (40'), fairly level sites with pull throughs one that has few permanent residents.

Nice campgrounds PA to ME

We will travel from SC to Bar Harbor, ME in June as we have done before. We have found it difficult to get a nice CG above VA. We will travel I-81 to I-84 to I-484 around Boston to I-95. Any suggestions for PA,CT,MA will be appreciated.

Windows 7, send to desk top ??

Before I got Windows 7, I could right click any file, message or what have you, and could send it directly to the desk top. With Windows 7, I can't. Any suggestions?

RE: On Line Backup?

Carbonite is probably the best backup off line. It has worked for me very well for 3 years.

RE: Toilet stays in the full open position

Before you try anything, I would recommend you coat the ball with Vaseline. It has worked for me for years.

RE: Dang leaky hoses.

I had the same problem on my 06 Phaeton. Made a 10-12 inch hose to connect to the lead in and thus reducing all pull on it. I attach my hose to this short connection. Quite easy and has worked great for 4-5 years now.

RE: I just did a refi....WOW $aving lot$

We too tried to refinance but being under water didn't work for us. We have a loan with Santander and believe or not the payoff is more than what we still owe on the loan! Anyone ever heard of this before??

RE: Soldotna, Alaska - Camping

Centennial Park.
We have stayed there 5 times and we think it is the best of the best for the Reds and Silvers. You can step down to the Kenai from unit with a few steps.

RE: Six Year Old RV Tires - What happens to them?

Of course the dealers sell the tires and this is the reason most dealers will pay you for your old trade in tires. I recently replaced my tires on our 06 Phaeton and the dealer wrote me a check for $360.00 ($60.00 per tire). I think this is standard procedure, but didn't know this until I started to trade. BTW, I used the FMCA/Michelin deal to save me about 10 percent.

RE: towing a Honda Pilot???

I tow an 03 Honda Pilot(flat towing, no trailer) which I bought new and it has worked flawlessly, but now Honda only approves the CRV can be towed 4 wheels down with auto transmission. I don't know what changes occured since 03.

RE: Attractions in Charleston?

If you are into great food, don't miss HUSK's restaurant on Queen. It was rated #1 in the USA last year. He only uses food from the South and it is incredible. Even for lunch you should have reservations, however.
