Prayers for you and for Lumpy. This is so difficult I know. We cut a trip short and got home just in time for Koko to die at home. But I would have had no problem getting a cremation done on the road. I hope you is feeling better. I have a soft spot for retrievers.

We had visitors a couple of years ago and went to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Upon arriving home we discovered Koko had gotten into one of the bags and eaten some medication!! A quick trip to the vet and both dogs got the emptying procedure. Everybody was OK, but that was scary. Really, really warn visitors to keep meds and snacks shut up
Glad your guy didn't get hurt.

Other creatures do not need salvation as they don't have free will and "don't sin." Of course, some of them do things that seem like they are willfully causing trouble!!!! How many of us know that feeling?

We have a winnebago also and the inside grab bar is great. It should help your DH. I use it because of my arthritis and would not want to do without.

I 2nd the squirt bottle or I use a squirt gun to silence the dogs in the back when other free range dogs come up to the fence and incite them.

Oh how beautiful!! I am so glad mom has a good home. She deserves it for raising these wonderful babies. They are definitely purebred, IMHO. I have had 5 labs.

Lab, maybe we can arrange for a couple of the pups to come your way!! I would hate to see them because I will want one. Willow was 7 months old when we got her, so I am missing that puppy fix!! Especially Choco Lab
