RE: Jayco Greyhawk Running lights

Glad to hear that, now I know where to look if I happen to have a problem. I am curious though did you call McCormick? Well after continued troubleshooting I have found the problem, and no I didn't call McCormick just because I wanted to look over things first. Turns out the coach is fine. It was the boat trailer causing the problem. One of the wires on the front small marker lights fell out and was touching the frame. Unfortunatly since the 20A fuse didn't go right away, some of the wires on the boat trailer are a little crispy. Nothing I can't fix. Anyway sorry for the false alarm. I'm glad it's not the coach!

RE: Jayco Greyhawk Running lights

OK, I found out why I lost the power to the 20A fuse in the cab. There is a 40A fuse under the hood. It's in a block of big fuses to the left of the other fuse/relay block under the hood. The 2nd time the 20A fuse in the cab did not blow, the 40A did. Anyway, I replaced both the 20 and 40A fuses and the running lights seem to work fine after drivinng around for a while. In fact, I have been driving with a 15A fuse installed instead of a 20A.

RE: Jayco Greyhawk Running lights

yes I do if you are talking about the switch over on the right side of the dash. still concerned about the loss of power to the fuse on both sides.

Jayco Greyhawk Running lights

Lost the running lights on my Kodiak chassis 32SS Jayco. Replaced the fuse and ran for about 5 miles and then lost the fuse again, but the 2nd time I lost the power to the fuse block? Both sides of the fuse block are dead for just for the running lights. All other electrical items are fine,(head, brake, and turn signals). Anyone ever had any issues like this on the Kodiak chassis? Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Why would I choose a Super C vs Normal C

Same reasons for us, but the increased towing capacity was the single biggest reason.

RE: Conquest Ultra

Rear of my RV is very low so I crawled underneath and noticed that the RV is sitting on the rear rubber bumpers. I am consider putting on the 19K springs on the back. I have the 13500 springs on my unit and I just put on super springs the rear still sits on the rubber stoppers. I have a full tank of water, propane and full of full. I pull a car on the tow dolly. We travel pretty light but the rear of rv still drags over driveways and gas stations. Will the 19K spring bolt in without any modifications. My coach was touching the bump stops before and after the super spring install by Jayco. The supper springs raised the rear and helped the the rocking, (a lot) but the bump stops still road on the top of the super sprinings, since the go on top of the current springs. Super spring recommeded cutting down the stops which I did and problem solved.

RE: Selling Seneca 34SS

Sounds like a very nice coach but with this economy unless you have to sell it, I would just hold on to it.
