RE: small leak

Thanks for the suggestions. We will try them out.

small leak

Any suggestions for the best way to find where a small leak in the ceiling of our shower (right in the very corner near the outer edge and corner of the trailer) might be originating? We tried sealing the roof right above the leak even though we didn't see any suspicious area. That doesn't seem to have worked. Thanks for any help.

RE: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012

Quote Pam We bought plastic sheleves at Loews. They fit perfectly in width and depth. Two of three reqiured no changes. The third shelf required us to cut the legs to accommodate a curve in the closet. They were inexpensive--about $15. Might work for you. Has anyone done anything to the long wardrobe type closest along side the bed? Who brings clothes on hangers camping? Not us. Currently I have plastic stackable drawers in there, but they only sit about halfway in, so there is a lot of lost space. I wonder if it's worth shelving & maybe using baskets? http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r1/rondebmalone/100_0530.jpg?t=1204391314 We put the wire shelves in 2 of our 3 hanging clothes closets. Attached the larger size quarter round with HEAVY Duty Velcro. Measured the width of the shelving, Home Depot cut the shelving for me. For the Deep shelves that are beside the bed I just used 2 pieces of the shelving material as those closets were really deep.

RE: Honeymoom RVing in January

I can recommend Henderson Beach State Park in Destin if you decide to stick with Florida. It was gorgeous last January when we were there and the park is very nice and well-maintained.

RE: looking for a table

Thanks for the suggestions. I found a pet grooming table that folds up like a briefcase, but it is pricey. I think the ironing board is an interesting idea. Might try that first.

looking for a table

I am looking for a tall (close to counter height) portable table. I want to use it as additional work space when cooking bu it needs to be narrow (18" or less). Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks to all those who offered great suggestions for fall camping in New England. Had a great time and all the campgrounds we used per your suggestions were very nice. Anyone looking for fall and winter camping in New Hampshire might try Meredith Woos. We had a great stay and their literature says they are open year round. Once again, thanks. We are still newbies, but with two trips under our belts, we are feeling less like rookies. Happy camping.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I downloaded that app and it looks promising.

February travel

My husband and I are going to pull our trailer to Arizona from Ohio in February. Will we be able to find campgrounds along the way if we take a southern route to Tucson? Should we make reservations ahead? Won't need a long term place. Just over one or two nights on the road. We are staying with family in Tucson. Thanks for your help.
