RE: Grade Brake??

Just an added note. I have an 05 Pace Arrow. There is a rocker switch on the dash that engages the grade-brake.

RE: Grade Brake??

The way mine works. When you come to the top of the hill, what I do is engage the switch, and start down the grade. When you gain speed, touch the brake and the rig will shift down by itself. IF you still speed up, pump the brake once more and it will shift down another gear. The computor will not let the motor over-rev so you might have to slow down using the brakes before it shifts down again. In all the grades I have been on, I cant remember it shifting down twice. A great option. When you reach the bottom, step on the gas and everything goes back to normal. I have heard of people leaving it on all the time.Saves the brakes, even coming to a stop on the flat. I have an 8.1 with a 5speed allison,

blowing out lines

Planning to leave my mh in Arizona this summer. Going to drain tanks and fresh water. Should I blow out the water lines? Been told to, to avoid anything having a chance to grow in them. True or not. Counting on the experiance of the snow-birds. Thanks

RE: looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

Have a 05 37c. Pace Arrow. Cant get front drivers side leveler to go up or down. They are electric Atwood model. Use a drill to operate it.......but the pain is that I cant get rid of the error on the panel. Have to manually raise and lower the other three legs using the buttons. Third time this happened. Before, I went under and wiggled the wires and it started to work. Ground seems good, Now, there is no response. Any ideas?

RE: solar charger

Should only lite up in the daytime. If it is in the removable panel under your a/c take the screws out take a peek inside . My 99 had a disconnect wire that goes to the lite. Could be a burnt bulb. That panel is supposed to tweek the batteries when they are fully charged.

RE: Microwave replacement

I presume yours is a convection microwave. The punch-pad in my Dometic screwed up and when I tried to get another pad, I was told to throw away the unit cause they didnt make any parts. I did.

Casa Grande RV park in Casa grande. 195w Rodeo drive. Bought last year from western horizions. Owner sunk over a million into it last summer. Very nice and very reasonable. Guess he wants the people to come in and spread the word.

RE: Porch light and handle circuit?

To Lobstah. I have a 05 Pacearrow 37c that does not have a lit handle. The screws are froze and I dont want to strip them out.Seems to me this upper end model should have that option. Fuses are ok. Can a person access anything if he takes the switches out of that inside column box? Thanks

RE: no power to zone heater

Checked power. Ok till I got to the blower pin on the board by the furnace. Seems the stat is not sending the signal to the blower. There are 7 wires coming out of the two zone stat. Gr in, gr out,12volt in, 12volt out, h 1 and h2. the last one is a signal wire. Tied the signal wire to h1 to bypass the stat. No action. Any ideas?

no power to zone heater

Have a 2005 37c Pacearrow, with an Attwood furnace. Cant get any power to the board when I turn the stat up. Hear the stat click so a signal is sent from the remote sensor. The reset or on-off switch is on. I switched the board from the back zone furnace that does work to the front furnace..........no action. If there was a code flashing on the board, I would know what to do, but The red lite will not come on with the call for heat. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks.

RE: storing motorhome in USA

Im from Alberta and looked into the insurance aspect of leaving my mh in Arizona from april to october....then fly down and continue snowbirding. I talked to four major companies who all said the same thing. "If the rig is not on Canadian soil for more than 6months, they would have a problem with any claim turned in. One company called Nordic Ins. said they would carry the storage policy for 6 months for 3800 dollars. Called themselves a specialty company. So all the Canadians that leave thier rigs south for the summer and say the insu. co said that there was no problem, I would like to know the name of the company. Same with my motorcycle.
